Beautiful Aboriginal cultural centre. I attended a cultural competence course here and it was fantastic. The staff are amazing and so knowledgeable. The quad bike dune rides to Aboriginal sites was excellent. This is a great centre for training, corporate events, school excursions, private events, etc.

Life changing - this is a must do experience for everyone - Cultural course changed my perspective and blew my mind - so many thoughts and feelings - looking back in a new way with open eyes and hearts - to walk together in the now and future. Amazing people. Quadbike tour the BEST.

Went on Sunday to the Broughton Island public lecture . I was such a surprise to find out how beautiful it was inside . I have been in Port Stephens for 30 year see things come and go there .
I really had no idea what your Centre was about . I am telling everyone I know and yes they’re surprised us I was . Need to get the message out there ! I had such a wonderful day ,thanks to Neville Lilley for the chat after the lecture and did buy Lorraine’s book Mop Dolly have enjoyed the read .

I took part in a 3 day cultural immersion at Murrook. It completely opened my mind. I am in awe of the Worimi people — their survival, their continuity, their celebration of culture, and their warm welcome. For the first time in a long time I felt such a strong connection with others and the land. I highly encourage everyone to visit.

Absolutely brilliant Function Centre. The Cultural Centre beautifully represents the Wirimi Elders and Culture with State of the Art displays.

Thank you on behalf of Wallsend Ladies Probus club for a wonderful day. Leigh Ridgeway gave us a very informative tour we came away so enlightened about the Aboriginal way of life. I would recommend the Murrook centre to everyone plus the staff and food are amazing, well done.

If your going up to this beautiful part of NSW, you have to do their quad bike dune tour. It’s ridiculously fun. They have a fast group and a slow group when I went, I strongly encourage you to go with the fast group so you can do the big dune drop - SO MUCH FUN!

This is a great museum, gallery and café. We learned a lot about the local aboriginal people and could get a lot of answers to our questions through talking with a very friendly woman. The videos and interactive displays are of great quality and the space is beautifully decorate and curated.

Still in the process of finalising the centre, but it will be beautiful (and it already is). Having a chat with the woman present taught us a lot more than many of the plaques we read, so keep it up!

Excellent venue for a corporate function. There was nothing left to wish for at our event last Saturday. Everything was very well organised and our expectations were exceeded. The communication with the event staff prior to the function was very good and professional. The room was perfectly set up with all the required material which was a big help. The IT set up was very professional and easy to use. And the catering arrived perfectly on time as planned in the agenda and many compliments on the quality were received. The outdoor area was great for some teambuilding exercise and during the lunch break. I can highly recommend this Cultural Centre to anyone planning a corporate function or workshop in the Port Stephens area. Thank you very much Murrook Team, well done!
