What a sensational place to visit. The F111 and FA18 and other displays were great. You must try the simulator.

Fighter World has some absolute legends of the RAAF - highlights are the F-111, F/A-18, Sabre and Mirage. Was great to see the weapons systems outside the Mirage and F/A-18 so you could see how it worked and was maintained. I appreciate seeing interiors components on display as reference for making models. We visited Fighter World during the 2023 air base open day, so the photos I've shared are probably a bit busier than usual!

Great place to learn about the history of aviation in Australia. The staff, mostly volunteers, are more than happy to impart their knowledge. We were lucky enough to see the F35A jet take off and land as part of practice for the airshow the following weekend. Nice little cafe there as well.

Fantastic museum with great staff, great little cafe and the opportunity to chat with an ex-fighter pilot was an amazing experience. Also brilliant to have an almost constant air show going on outside with F35’s taking off and landing right in front of the observation deck. The day we were there, they had just unpacked a very impressive F35 flight simulator and were getting it ready for public use. A huge thumbs up for this fascinating display.

Awesome place, they had heaps of aircraft and luckily for my visit Hawk 127’s and F-35 jets were taking off and landing so the viewing platform was perfect for photos

Fighter world is a fantastic place to bring the kids as well as any aircraft history buffs. It sports a select range of aircraft significant to the RAAF's history including the controversial F111 and model of the CAC Boomerang, important vehicles some other museums try and sweep under the rug.

Walked in and my favourite right there. F111. Great aircraft displays from generations of Australian air power. Really helpful volunteer guides. Best on runway action I've ever seen with 14 F35's and 4 trainer jets all lining up and taking off in spectacular fashion. 1 was a US Marine F35 demonstrating folding wings. Interlaced with commercial aircraft movements. Great value for family ticket. Highly recommend.

Went back again last month so got some new pictures to add. To the guy who removed the covers so that we could get a proper look at them, thank you so much! Came July 22nd.

Fabulous place for the plane buff. Knowledgeable volunteers to answer questions and just to chat. Lucky enough to see military jets take off and land. Cafe attached for light lunch and snacks is reasonably priced.

We've recently been on a trip including frazer island, theme parks and the great Lakes. This was definitely a highlight. Jack the general manager was kind enough to share many stories about the history of aviation and the many advances in technology over the time. So great to spend time with someone with such a great aviation passion and knowledge to boot.

Also the Cafe was one of the best feeds we had on the trip also. Lots of gluten free options and best coffee I've had in a long time.

No matter how much time you have available, I strongly recommend a visit.
