Newcastle Airport

Despite the building site outside, the departure terminal had a good selection of eating venues plus live music! A young woman singing & playing acoustic guitar was the perfect experience as we sat waiting for our plane.

Newcastle Airport feels new at the moment I think the current upgrades and future plans contribute to this. Its compact size ensures minimal walking distances. However, limited dining options and lack of direct international flights are drawbacks. Future plans include terminal expansion and improved facilities, promising an enhanced travel experience.

After seeing the outside of airport Reno I was greatly surprised when I entered. Greeted warmly by Jetstar , body scanner and restaurant staff. Ge food selection is brilliant and facilities super clean. This is a credit to all 👏

Very clean, although doing an upgrade. Signs for rideshare area might get better. If you are at the taxi rank you have gone too far.

Lovely regional airport. Loads of comfortable seating. Plenty of food to choose from. Lots of places to work on laptop and spots to charge devices

Vine & Valley had a lovely choice of fresh healthy food available. Very nice to see such a great choice.

Out of the four times I’ve come here the staff, particularly Jetstar staff, have been so friendly and accommodating. Literally had to post this after them being so chill. Newy vibes good

Always a nice, quiet and relaxed airport. Easy process for arriving and departing. Plenty of food options too.

Great airport. Clean, tidy and friendly staff

This airport has improved significantly and should be the standard for regional airports around Australia. It looks modern and the various food outlets give great variety. There is no issue with parking and it is a breeze to park and get to your gate. The staff are friendly and efficient, perfect for when you are in a hurry.

Friendly, helpful staff and clean modern facilities with decent food and drink options make this a lovely airport to travel from.

Easy parking, lots of parking options to suit different budgets. Easy drop off of luggage. Welcoming staff at security. So much less stressful than Sydney domestic airport and you can now fly internationally to Auckland.

Easy to navigate
Airline staff are awesome at all desks but especially Fly Pelican, Link and Qantas.

Modern and efficient airport with everything you'd expect to have (good variety of food, short/long term parking). Make sure you plan ahead for uber/taxi

Quaint little airport with affordable long-time parking and a really quick security gate (thanks to more advanced machines). Allow around 8 minutes for the walk back to the terminal.

A small food court that provides enough whilst waiting for your flight.
Jetstar, Virgin and Qantas all use this airport.
New premium undercover carpark installed.

Great little airport ... soon to be a big airport and a great asset to Newy.

Awesome facilities for a smaller regional airport, providing all the essential travel connections around the country. Received great customer service all round. This was particularly exhibited within the Virgin Australia airline with both the checkin counters (served by Carol) and on the plane. Totally recommend 👌

I've always found the domestic terminal clean, simple to transit through and a reasonable quality of food when you need to wait a little longer than you'd originally planned. The current upgrade works out the front make it a bit hard for pick up and drop off, but I haven't been missed or lost yet.

Best security in the country. Don't have to remove laptop and they were courteous.
