Paramoor Winery

Fantastic boutique vineyard and cellar door hosted by Geoff and Sam on the old Clydesdale horse farm and now vineyard. Great tasting area in the barn - and lovely pinot. Amazing antique farming machinery to view and wonderful hosts. Highly recommend a visit on the weekend if you're in the area. Not far from Hanging Rock, Mount Macedon and Woodend if you want to pair it with a day trip to one of those places.

Our family had a lovely time here last weekend. We enquired about whether we would be able to visit, and Geoff and Sam generously agreed to host us for the afternoon. The wines were superb (they produce excellent pinot), the wood fired pizzas were incredible, and most of all, they were wonderful, kind and generous hosts. The cellar door is very cosy, and the grounds are peaceful and well-kept. We have been coming here for years, and having met Geoff and Sam, and seeing them in action, we are really excited to watch Paramoor grow with them at the helm. Thank you very much - we can’t wait to come back again soon!

Loved this place! So after a day of wine tasting I can truthfully say, everything I tried was awesome. Went here as part of a mystery weekend where picnic items were collected along the way, ending here, where we ate.
The owners created the winery as part of a retirement and aim to keep it small, which enables them to give you that personal touch.
We will be going back here in the future and have passed the details of this wonderful place to all our friends.

The wines were exceptional, and complemented the homemade wood fired pizzas perfectly. Cozy, peaceful and serene. Jeff and Sam were fabulous hosts, and the staff were very accommodating. We had an amazing experience start to finish. We'll have to come back to experience the cottages!

LOVE LOVE LOVED our time at Paramoor Winery! Kathleen was so lovely and inviting. She had the fireplace burning and told us wonderful short stories to go with each of the wines and who they were named after. We could've stayed all night! It was hard to choose a favourite wine on the day. A real family affair at Paramoor - you won't be disappointed here.

Hidden Gem. Delicious Wines & great Hosts.

A brilliant cellar door experience. Apart from the amazing surrounds and the magnificent converted barn, this place has some of the best small batch wines Victoria has to offer. (if not THE best). You can tell straightway they know their business here.
You won't regret coming.

The “Christina”, a blend of Pinot noir and Pinot gris that Will has come up with is so so easy to drink and we’re not sure it will last until summer arrives 😂. The 2019 Shiraz “Kathleen” is a lovely balanced Shiraz, not as heavy as some may prefer but still a great buy. Finally the 2019 Cab Sav “Uncle Fred” is is bold, velvety and easy to drink.

Charming cellar door experience.Lovely wines. Cozy large old work-shed (full of history) with old blacksmith's oven warming the room plus comfy chairs to take a break and have a snack and a glass of wine.

Thoroughly enjoyed this tasting with Will. I love that the wine is named after people in Wills life, and boy did I love Uncle Fred's Cab Sav.

We stopped here on our winery tour bus, and was a perfect visit. Very cute location with lovely staff.

Amazing hosts and wine!

A lovely rustic winery to visit on Australia Day. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. Not to mention the delicious wine!

Excellent boutique winery with an excellent range of whites, red and rose which would suit anyone’s palate. Will and Kathy make all their visitors welcome.
