We have been coming at the restaurant ever since opened and it’s our weekend main menu. Food is fantastic and safety. Services is suites the environmental. Staffs are friendly and best understanding their role. Overall it is 4.5 stars.

Highly recommended! The food is cheap, delicious and freshly cooked while you wait. Definitely the best Thai food in Sydney!

Haven’t been back here in ages, but the food still hits the spot. Atmosphere matches the pricing, which is very reasonable and the quality of food is super yummy.

Use to be my weekly spot, and now I need to come back soon to grab some more crispy pork yums

Not sure about the bar but the thai food here is LIT!! So authentic, delicious, reasonable price and served relatively quickly. I go to thai restaurants for their authenticity so I dont mind the street food vibe. Their papaya salad is a must! Have visited weekly for past 2 months.

Excellent Authentic Thai food. Over the course of 2 meals we had 8-10 dishes and all of them were excellent even for Thai standards. The dishes can vary greatly in taste and style. They seem to fit all the major dishes in Thailand and prepared them really well in a small kitchen. Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic Thai food.

Good Thai food. Price start from $5.90 for a small noodle which was generous with the meat and vegetables. The address listed here is George Street but i actually entered the shop from Sussex Street. Cash only for payment below $20. I wanted also Thai ice milk tea but it was weird they don't sell any beverages. I guess you can bring your own beverages. Update Feb 2020: prices has gone up to $6.90 for one small bowl of noodle. Noodle still good though. Update June 2023: $8.90 for one small bowl of noodle.

I really like the street food kind of seating . There was alot of variety and alot of further meat combinations you can made with that variety

The price was best compared to other thai restaurants. The order was ready in minutes even though it was packed with customers

The staff is really nice and polite the restaurant is neat and tidy

Amazing authentic Thai food and readily made, plenty of seating and convenient location.

Ordered the crispy fried pork noodle (best seller) and wow! My meal tasted authentic, fresh, and crispy to perfection! I stumbled along this place walking down Chinatown looking for a good bite to eat and I was so pleased that I plan on coming back here again! Also ordered a beer from the connecting bar and couldn't be happier. I didn't have to wait long for my food and after adding some extra chili spices to the meal, I will 100% come back.

Had a tap beer (White Rabbit dark ale) and a cocktail (sweet G sour). All good. Will return next time.

An old favourite. Great location now the tram stop is here!!. Great atmosphere any time of day or night. Great beer. Also a great selection. Staff are immaculate always. Pokes are a bit of fun. The highlight of Charlie chanson is the back entry with the best food at the best prices. Unpretentious good food.
