Amazing peaceful community. Come here for mindfulness and reconnect with nature. Natural organic farm with bananas and mango trees, cows and bulls roaming free. Delicious vegetarian meals and friendly people

My recent visit to Sri Govardhana Iskcon temple left me immersed in the divine experience. The unique location of this temple in the hills is captivating, making it a must-visit for all Krishna Bhakthas.

A Temple spreading the ideas of Krishnaism among devotees, this is absolutely marvelous to be there. Chanting Hare Krishna mantra with all presents gives you feeling of oneness.
Excellent quality of daily prasadam is served here. This place makes me relaxed, energetic, full of positivity..forget all the worries when I am going there..Immaculatly clean and wonderful spiritual atmosphere

This is one of my most favorite places in Australia. I look forward to visiting this place during Easter Holidays when a special event called " Sacred Sound Retreat" takes place. This is a beautiful farming community spread over 2000 acres of land. The farm has a temple of Krishna, a Guest House that has about 10 rooms with each room having 4-6 beds in a dormitory style, common bathrooms,laundry, shared reading, meditation space with books to read, a Kitchen with Stove, Fridge, Filtered water etc. Apart from this, there are about 10 individual Cabins which are self contained with basic facilities like bathroom, Fridge, Kettle, Bread Toaster, Study Table, Lamp etc. The also houses Goshala which takes care of Cows, Banana, Mango trees etc. The morning views are enchanting with misty clouds floating over the near by mountains, a water pond, a perennial river flowing through the farm.And, last but not the least is the delicious food that is served free three times a day for Guests staying over in the rooms or the Cabins.A must visit place that is spiritually enriching, close to nature, help rejuvenate your Mind, body and Soul. This place is about 12 kms from the Town of Murwillumbah or a 40 mins drive from Gold Coast Airport.

Had a fantastic experience when we visited this place last time( you can book one of the cottages available to spend the night there), looking forward to a visit sometime in near future too.

Being Vaishnav, staying in a foreign country, being not able to access temples on a regular basis, this temple poured me in with tears & memories ❤! Absolutely divine feels with THE LORD Krishn 💘 ! Radhe Krishn !!! Also the people preparing prasada & performing Aarti are so kind.

Magical place! 108 stars if I could! If you wish to investigate Krishna Consciousness, this is the place to go. If you show interest in learning about God with them, they will enable you to do so, no matter who you are or what your situation is. For me, the experience I had there was life changing. It is truly some of the best that ISKCON/Hare Krishna has to offer. The ISKCON community here is growing, and is possibly in a state of revival. There are not many devotees who are Indian here, which, to be quite frank, is probably good, as a number of ISKCON temples have been co-opted by Indians seeking simply a Hindu temple, and who may not have what this movement is about in their hearts or even minds. The WWOOFing community (known as Krishna Village) below the temple has a righteous hippie vibe, like much of the surrounding area. Lots of backpackers and alternative folks. Yoga for days bro, yoga for days. And earthy food. Just bring some protein or money for their fresh milk, because you're gonna need some protein, and they don't serve up much. Actually the WWOOFing community is so cool that it can distract from the more dedicated spiritual activities offered there. It's still a good thing, because the WWOOFers bring a lot of good to the temple along with their unbridled energy. The retreat is also great, as this area has lovely, peaceful natural surroundings, including rivers. If you are a dedicated devotee of Krishna, you will be surrounded by some of the most inspirational activities and people in the movement, including a school, frequent large Harinams, and a sophisticated, keenly organized Brahminical culture. Just don't get lost in the outward beauty of this place. My hat is off to Ajita (the current temple president and visionary) and all who helped me there. I hope to return one day!

In the middle of forest ,look like paradise of Lordship , all people there are like angel in behavior,words and action. Very rare to see such selfless souls .
