Stopped by the café on my way up the coast and stumbled across some of the best burgers I've ever had (any major city would be jealous to have a joint like this)

We got the spicy chicken burger and vegan burger and were both incredibly enamoured with the quality and quantity of them!

Certainly worth a stop with a nice gallery to look at whilst you wait for your meal to be cooked.

For anyone looking for an amazing place to stay, look no more! This olace is fabulous, friendly staff, plenty of space, the best burgers and milkshakes I've ever had! We've been there twice with our dog and everything has been fantastic. Please make yourselves a favour and visit this place, you won't regret it!
Thanks Kristen and Sam for all the hard work and for being so lovely. We will definitely be back.

Gorgeously quaint campsite, great location, spotlessly clean and well maintained.

Burgers were delicious. Coffee went down a treat!

Highly recommend. Will definitely revisit. Thank you Mingling Waters!

Stopped in for an American burger, steak sandwich and a couple of coffees on the way home from Narooma. The service was very friendly, great burger and steak sandwich could not fault them at all and brilliant coffee! Hot, not burnt milk and coffee that tastes like coffee would recommend a stop over there any day of the week, absolute credit to the staff...also stock a great range of tea tonic teas (might of got myself a few boxes)

Mingling Waters is a great spot to stay. We hired out the bunkhouse for friends and family and it was comfortable, clean and straight forward. Dealing with one of the owners, Kristen, was excellent and she looked after us very well indeed. The breakfasts also are highly recommended! Thank you Kristen, you have a great little spot there and you're doing an excellent job.

This place was AMAZING, the staff were friendly and patient, the big root was a phenomena that must be seen and the food was to DIE for. Crispy chicken, forest lettuce, delectable chips. If only there were more stars! Best burgers in Australia.

We recently completed the Bairnsdale to Orbost Rail Trail and stayed overnight in a lovely rustic cottage at Mingling Waters. We arrived mid afternoon looking like a couple of drowned rats due to rain and the condition of the trail. We were so impressed with all the help we were given to help us dry off all our gear and settle in. The food at the cafe is also awesome. I'd have to say our stay at Mingling Waters was a highlight of our adventure.

Today I met Sam and Kristen. Sam cooked me bacon, eggs just how I liked, avocado on beautiful fresh gluten free fresh bread toast. Kristen made the most beautiful coffee too.
These people were so warm and welcoming. An absolute must if you ever pass through!!!

Great park, it is old but they are doing it up while battling fires and COVID. Could not find friendlier or more helpful people. Very helpful for our large group that made it a great trip again. We will be back, cheers for all your work.

In the middle of the wood, above and along the river, but still close to local shop (petrol station nearby) or Lake Entrance.
Close to walking and cycling path.

We stopped here based on reviews from theHappy Cow application. It said that there were a few meals which could be made vegan so on our trip we made sure to stop by as food was limited on the road.

First the amenities and facilities were clean and staff were friendly.

We got served by the new manager or owner (i believe) who talked us through the options and confirmed what was vegan and wasn't. When we sat down to wait she came up and advised that the buns werent actually vegan however she could use something else to ensure that our meal was.

This was an incredible touch and something that if I am back in the area I will be sure to stop in and purchase more food purely because of this.

Thankyou for being awesome with the vegan options!

Sorry for the delayed review!

We had a stay here over the past week. We have stayed in Lakes the past few years but wanted a pet friendly place with more space. This spot is excellent! Not "waterfront" but the lake is literally just out the back gate so if you have a site on the lower grass flat you'll be pretty close. There's a boat ramp & little jetty pontoon out there too. Didn't try the cafe but will definitely re-visit. The little bmx track is a few hundred metres down the path. There's a wetland walk with little fishing spots along the lake (if you can fend off the mozzies). There is also a little market that sets up along the street 3rd Sunday of the month, kinda like trash & treasure. That was good too. Fire pits are available to use & there's a lemon tree near the dump point, that was very handy! The facilities are extremely clean.
All in all a fantastic little park with lots to do in the area & a relaxed & friendly vibe.
No flys this time of year, a few mozzies due to recent rain & puddles but nothing offputting.

We planned to stay two nights, but ended up staying 6. The river is beautiful and there are so many walks to do and things to explore. The staff we're super friendly and the park was uncrowded and well kept, right on the river. We'll definitely be back.

Very basic caravan park, but quiet despite being close to the highway. There are two new fully integrated unisex bathrooms, and the other amenities block is old but clean, and the showers are hot with good water pressure. Grab a hot breakfast or a fresh lunchtime sandwich at the cafe, but don't expect a meal at the pub across the road - it's strictly accommodation only these days.
Lovely walk along the river behind the park, and if you're more athletic, walk into Nowa Nowa to the trestle bridge over the gorge. Buchan Caves are a half hour drive, and Orbost is 15 mins away. We stayed for two nights, and would stay again if in the area.
