Evies Disco Diner

Heaps of great vegan options here. My girlfriend loves that their vegan burger is not the usual "veggie patty" or grilled mushroom option. They make a massive effort with service every time we come. The onion rings are delicious, as are the cornbread Madeleines. My fried chicken burger was lovely, too—a really great quality whole fried chicken fillet. I've had the chicken and waffles before, and they are a bit awkward to eat in the waffle bowl format, and I'm not a big fan of peanut butter, so the PB caramel sauce was not my kind of thing. Glad I tried it though! Their homemade sodas are great: I love that they have cream soda, gives it that real dinner vibe. Speaking of which, the music is so great here! We have been back a few times and really enjoy it. Would definitely recommend to friends to come here.

Very friendly service and delicious food, the cornbread and potato skins were fantastic. Plus we got free popcorn and ice cream. ☺

Surprisingly not too expensive either. I definitely recommend this place for a relaxed atmosphere and good drinks.

Great bottomless brunch with yum non alcoholic options and delicious vegan options. Alcohol also includes mimosas - yum! Staff were very friendly and attentive, we always had a drink in hand. Thanks Evies x

Had such a lovely time here at the sunday bottom brunch with drag bingo. 😍 our hostess was gorgeous! Incredibly friendly and made sure everyone was having a fun time, filled with laughs, dancing, games and just an overall fantastic experience! Thankyou

December 2020. My partner and I called in for a drink and dessert. This place is awesome!! The menu is vegan or non vegan.

Evies still have happy hour every day, yes EVERY day hahaha. So many places have stopped happy hour but not Evies ... yay!!

For dessert I had a long island ice tea, my partner a margarita and we shared some apple pie which had fluffy pastry, a good apple filling and it was delicious.

And I've been there for happy hour recently try a beer which was good, and a happy hour espresso Martini! Whoa, they were really good haha and the prices were fantastic.

I haven’t been here for a while so I called in with a mate for a quick drink. The service was friendly and attentive.

The frozen margaritas were excellent, really tasty lol. If you want to go somewhere for some good vegan and non-vegan food in a fun relaxed environment then this might just be the place for you.

OMGosh people!! I am a generally a carnivore at heart but I’m weakening hahaha especially when I get to try THE moat amazing VEGAN cheeseburger that one ever eaten!

There is a new chef at Evie’s and he can cook. My vegan burger was full of veggies and incredibly tasty! And not greasy thankfully.

I had some onion rings and the batter was excellent, the onion rings were man size lol and once again they weren’t greasy. Yummo.

We also tried the vegan (hot) dog of the day which was delicious. The roll was good, and the vegan ingredients were light and tasty.

The interesting thing I’ve realised about vegan food is that I don’t feel bloated after my meal exit is really good.

In saying that I did try a beef cheeseburger which was really tasty, just to see how it compared to the vegan burger and it was equally as good.

This place pumps out some old school tunes, and they sell my most current favourite beer, Boatrocker Miss Pinky - Raspberry Berliner Weisse which is sweet and sour! Yummy hahaha

This place was really impressive and it’s a must try! It’s just amazing! Il be back shortly for another vegan burger :)

Excellent place to celebrate a hens. Drinks were a little slow however they didn’t hold back on offering another order.

Evie’s is such a funky venue offering disco, vegan friendly diner food and great vibes. Menu is equally delicious as it is fun with cheesy Mac and cheese, waffles and my favourite...boozy shakes like cookies and cream or Reece’s pieces! Highly recommend for good times

I went to Evie’s Disco Diner for my birthday last Sunday. My friends and I signed up for the bottomless brunch and let me just say, that it was quite literally the best time of our lives. From the tasty (but not weak) cocktails and shots, to the free arcade games, to the hilariously fun Drag Bingo, to the beautifully kind servers Wayne, Spence and Callum, thank you for your customer service and just straight up kindness. Also just gonna put it out there that this place has the best Bloody Mary’s in all of Melbourne, they give you olives with it! DEAD! Loved this place, will be going again next chance I get! SUCH GOOD VIBES!

My partner Charlie and I had our surprise wedding at Evie's. The venue and the staff were just so wonderful and made it the best day ever. They were super easy to deal with, the food was great and made all our disco surprise wedding dreams come true! Highly recommend Evie's.

Most amazing night if my life! Went for the bingo and not one complaint. Fun lively Environment with everyone dancing, the performances were phenomenal and on top of that the diner styled area was perfect ! We got the cocktail jugs which were amazing value and also later got the most delicious fries. Highly highly highly recommend.

Wayne and Callum provided outstanding service from the beginning of our event organisation right through to execution - they were unbelievably friendly and responsive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, well priced and catered for all of our dietary needs - the jam doughnuts were outstanding and the old fashioned champagne glasses were fantastic! The venue was fun, photogenic and well laid out with plenty of room for our 100+ guests. Staff were friendly, efficient and a whole lot of fun. I highly recommend Evie's to anybody planning an event and will definitely be back again myself. Just a brilliant experience from end to end.

Friendly staff, delicious food for every dietry requirement, glass straws, gender neutral toilets and all round inclusive vibes - what more could you want?
They also have really unique interior design which is perf for your insta grid; or if you're new in town & looking for a quintessential quirky melbs experience. Yay!

Had a great time at Drag bingo with Skyla!

The mimosas were on point, chicken waffles were delicious and the service was excellent. Will definitely be coming back.

Also they have a Sega Mega drive to play which is awesome

Now this is one hell of a great bar and diner. This was a very memorable and fantastic bar, loved every moment here and felt right at home.
It was clean, it was well laid out and affordable. It wasn't just a good experience, but literally was fun! There was arcade games and music going.

Incredible. Went for Saturday bottomless brunch and drag bingo; good value with decent food options and solid service. Drinks were great and nice to be able to get refills at the bar and not have to wait for service like some other bottomless brunch places.

Drag Bingo was amazing entertainment; hosted by @skyladrag who worked the crowd (and the floor) like an absolute pro. Had the best time ever and can't wait to bring friends to see Skyla, who went out of her way to take time and engage with all us boozers; absolutely carried the whole day with ease. Loved it!

food was absolutely amazing, was a bit expensive but worth it, great place for hanging out with friends, 100% recommended

Incredible vegan burgers and loaded fries! the salted caramel and Reece's pieces shakes are delicious. My friend and I couldn't stop eating and left very bloated.

i came here with some friends at around 9/10pm on a Saturday night, the venue wasn’t too busy which was nice. We loved the convenience of being able to order from our phones without having to leave the table, i even noticed there was an option to pay with afterpay! We all ordered food and several drinks. The food was lovely especially considering how late it was, the drinks didn’t taste watered down and overall the energy was super enjoyable!
