Mirboo North Hotel

26 of us went there for dinner with our Burnley Golf Club annual golf trip, & every one of us enjoyed it. Food was great, service was quick & friendly, & we had a really good area set up for us. Very impressed, & we'll be back.

Went here during the week, friendly staffgreat value. Had the pork medallions as a senior's choice so lovely and moist beautifully cooked vegetables..thoroughly recommend..

Forget your fancy high priced Melbourne restaurants, go to the Mirboo North Hotel Bistro for a magnificent meal. On friday night I had the Roast Vegetable and Goat Cheese Tart with scalloped potatoes, you could not wish for anything better. Compliments to the chef and all the great staff.

Had a senior fillet steak with creamed potatoes and veg. All were perfect, couldn't get a better meal in 5 star restaurant . My husband had goats cheese tart. He said the same as me.

Friendly and helpful staff, especially Troy who assisted with the provision of services not usually available. Room was clean and quiet, and the food in the restaurant was expertly cooked.

Great Pub food. Welcome relief from the heat at The Italian Festival. Large group catered for in friendly environment.

Had lunch at the Mirboo North Hotel today and was very pleasantly surprised. As soon as you enter you are warmly greeted by staff and made to feel very welcome. The next surprise was the menu and the wide selection it was fabulous. I had a Roasted vegetable tart with goats cheese, the presentation on the plate was beautiful and it was delicious.
You could be forgiven if you forgot that you were in a little country pub in Gippsland.
Do yourself a favour and visit this delightful little country hotel 🏨 you will not be disappointed.

Food was delicious. Everyone ordered something different and everyone was satisfied. Also was a suitable place for our 5 kids, aged 7,6,4,3 and newborn. No park but kept entertained with the toys and books available. Maybe a park could be considered ? But very happy and will be going back again solely based on the delicious food.

We were there for lunch today. Quite a large group. The food was excellent and the staff extremely friendly. Highly recommended. Definately coming back.

Nice country pub great food

The Mirboo North Hotel gets a contextual 5 stars for the sensational food!!!! Worked nearby for a week and after the first night didn't bother looking anywhere else.

Firstly the menu is fantastic. Great variety, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free friendly with heaps of choice. The diversity is only matched by the quality. Really well thought out dishes with a great flavour profile.

The pork belly was especially good. Perfectly cooked, nice crunchy crackling, juicy pork, complimented with a sweet poached pear. The Lamb shank gnocchi was also excellent. All chicken schnitzels are house made with chicken breast and a delicious herb crum-base.

Don't let the decor fool you. This place is a gem. Made my trip. Thanks Mirboo North Hotel :)

I ordered the pork belly from the lunch menu and have to say it was the best pork I've ever had anywhere!! The pork was tender and full of flavour while the crackling was crispy and perfect. The accompanying vegetables were also vibrant in colour, flavour and steamed to perfection, while the mash was creamy, smooth, and of a consistency that would rival any other restaurant or bistro in Australia I've been to. It was only $10 too!! Thank you so much to the staff of the hotel 😊
