Lakeside Suites

Very spacious, great views, comfy bed and really clean.

It feels like home very peaceful and beautiful plaice to visit highly recommended and the view is magical

Stayed in Suite 1; loved the comfort & loved the view!!

The place is extremely spacious and has a fantastic view. It's absolutely stunning. One problem is that the master bedroom door does not close. Other than that I love it!

We stayed in apartment 2 downstairs and at first all seemed lovely, that is until the lights were switched on. We discovered 4 lights not working. One was annoyingly coming on and off continually. We complained and the caretaker came around the next morning (without a ladder) in a vain attempt to fix two lights he stated the other two he knew needed an electrician. There was no exterior security sensor light.

The bed was surprisingly small and it was disappointing that the bathroom did not connect to the bedroom. Hoping to get a good nights sleep as we were there for a wedding we were soon disappointed. Outside the bedroom, in the understairs cavity in the hallway was the compressor for the heating units for the apartments. It vented into our hallway. One of the apartments left their heating on during the night so we were kept awake most of the night with the noise of the compressor. Shutting the bedroom door wasn’t much of a help as it rattled continuously. The caretaker offered no help to silence the cavity or seal the door so we could at least sleep with that shut.

After two sleepless nights we were a little slow to leave. Our checkout was 12 noon. At 12.15 we get a phone call asking us for the keys. I have never, ever been asked this in my life for being this amount over time. When I listed my complaints with the staff I was told they had never heard of any these problem before etc. etc. After blank stares and no apology I walked out.

Do not stay in this apartment!
