Toast Cafe

The staff whom I interacted with at this venue were very friendly, efficient, and had great product knowledge. I was greeted the moment I stepped into the cafe, and quickly shown to table. When I was asked what I wanted to order, I asked what could be prepared quickly. Various wraps were suggested, I opted for a ham wrap. I also ordered a small flat-white coffee and a chocolate brownie.

While I waited for my meal, I took a moment to admire the interior decor of what I assumed was once a warehouse of some sort. I didn't have too long to take in the ambience before my meal was placed on my table. The coffee was hot and strong, very enjoyable. The choc brownie was, well, very chocolatey and delicious. The ham wrap, which had been toasted, was quite fresh and delicious, with some enjoying flavours. A very satisfying meal, prepared in a hurry ! Recommended.

Juice, milkshake and coffees were really great.

Juice was the apple crisp and was very enjoyable. Milkshake was light and not too thick for the brunch time. And iced coffee was enjoyed too :)

Pulled pork sandwich doesn’t look much in the picture but my partner enjoyed it!

Nice jolly atmosphere. We sat and chatted for ages planning our next few days in Sydney.

Very nice cafe. The staff greeted us as soon as we walked in and were very friendly. The design of the cafe is quite nice as well, I like how the interior wall features illustrations of the Surry Hills neighbourhood. The poached eggs on my croque madame were cooked wonderfully and the cheeseburger toastie was indeed faithful to it's name, very tasty!

Have been here a couple of times now and it is one of the best places for breakfast or lunch I know of in this area.
The service is superb and the food amazing, as well as the coffees.
I would absolutely recommend going here for a good and fulfilling meal.

We went to Toast Cafe with the expectation of just having a bite to eat - that was certainly an underestimation! What we experienced was a culinary enlightenment. The combination of folded egg and bacon, in a sarnie, with a hash brown, and spicy mayo! Wow!

However, ‘it takes a village’, and the front of house was no exception. Jack was charming and his bubbly jokes were the real highlight. With his speedy service and trusty order memory, he really is an asset to Toast Cafe.

It is a must in Sydney.

I had wonderful visit! Barista super friendly and lovely to answer my silly questions and staff (tall boy ) very kind and gentle , I can feel a lot of good energy in this place , will def come again , btw the milk art is made by soy cappuccino so it’s not easy , appreciate barista put heart into it and make it beautiful

One of the best spots nearby in Surry Hills. Fantastic food and coffee, my mushrooms were absolutely delicious. Also, a beautiful interior with a spectacular sense of style.

I love Toast. The coffee is good and they have chairs. The don't try and make me sit on a milk crate with a cushion on top.

A very nice cafe, reasonably priced, but the most important thing was that they served absolutely perfect poached eggs!

Came here for breakfast on two days and on each day food was great, as was the staff and service. Definitely visit again when we are in Surry Hills.

I got a free coffee voucher after attending the Open Day at Studio Pilates Surry Hills. Great to have found a nice cafe. Will be back again :)
