The Hairy Goat Tapas & Cocktail Bar

Went on a whim to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Wife loved their cocktails and their food was really good. Great decision for the day as we were new in the area and just settled in. Would definitely be a go to place for us!

The owner/bartender was really nice and his drinks were spot on. Whenever we have a night out and have drinks (especially cocktails for the missus, this is one of the go-to spots we have on our list.

Great little place for either food & drink or a quiet drink after dinner.
5-6 beers on tap, plenty of cocktails + some mocktails for the kids or drivers

5 stars for Australian standard. 4/5 stars for Spanish standard (compared to best Tapas restaurant in Barcelona). Churros is a must try. Service is 6 stars!

We had the tapas share plates which was a great way to sample a few different dishes. We had a cocktail each too. Food was flavoursome and well priced. Staff were very friendly. We will return.

Amazing place for dinner. An absolute 5-star. Full points for customer service and food. Loved the vibe of the place. Food served was absolutely delicious and well presented. Star of the show was the sticky date dessert.
Would definitely come here again.

The Food was incredible, and the wait staff was amazing.
Not very often that you leave a restaurant and the next day you are still talking equally about how great the food and customer service were.
With honest and warm customer service, we had decided as a group to have the feed me option, thinking we would have to pay that amount per person, but when we ordered it, the wait staff advised us that it would be a large amount and we should have one between two, which was the perfect amount of food, other restaurants would have taken all that money off us and gave us the same amount.
Great portions (we needed to be rolled out), Tasty food, and again their customer service was exceptional.
We will be advising all our friends to come here when in Warrnambool!

What a great find! Awesome tapas, had croquettes 9/10, anchovy duo 9/10, garlic prawns 4/10 (a little tasteless). Overall food was great. They even have my 2 favourite bourbons which was a total surprise. Great service as well. Recommend

definitely a worthwhile dinner. a very welcome difference in cuisine and experience in Warrnambool: a mixture of spanish and ‘mexican’ dishes. dishes are almost all executed to perfection. mostly no disappointments a solid 4.5 stars for casual- smart casual. helpful, professional and friendly service. popular with locals (for something out of the ordinary) and tourist alike.

Upon visiting this awesome restaurant we were greeted by Tye and he was able to find a table for two although the restaurant was booked out.

What followed was a flurry of awesome dishes and spot on recommendations by the serving staff!

Amazing food, delicious cocktails, and great customer service. Despite the place being fully booked out, my waiter Tye went above and beyond and managed to squeeze us into a table which we really appreciated because it's so hard to find a table anywhere in Warnambool without a booking. Then staff were super attentive throughout the night with great service. Definitely worth the money. Compliments to the chef.

P.S we had the lamb shoulder for two with the crispy pork/scallops and that sh*t was amazing.

In 2020 for our 36th Wedding Anniversary, Warrnambool was in a "hard" lock-down due to Covid-19, so we ordered-in at home from The Hairy Goat Tapas & Cocktail Bar to mark the occasion. We were very impressed with the food and service.
Wouldn't you know it, but the Delta put us in lock-down again in 2021, though at least this year we were not confined to home. So we decided to continue the tradition by visiting The Hairy Goat for our 37th!
Upon arrival, the check-in process and layout of the venue followed the Covid-safe guidelines and it was obvious that everything had been cleaned before we were seated.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was prompt and efficient. The venue also had a cosy vibe.
To mark the occasion we had a couple of cocktails to start which were perfect.
As we enjoy sharing, we opted for the Special from the Tapas Menu where five selections were made by the Chef. This included arancini balls, soft tacos, pulled pork sliders, grilled corn cobs and salt and pepper squid.
A carafe of their house-made Sangria complemented the meal which finished with a serving of churros to share.
All-in-all, a very enjoyable evening and a great night out !!
Thanks to The Hairy Goat and we'll see you next year, lock-down or not ;-)

Such a wonderful place great food, welcoming staff and a fantastic drink selection. We enjoyed our time here so much definitely will be back. Highly recommend you book a table.

BEST DINNER WE HAVE HAD FOR A VERY LONG TIME!

My partner and I experienced one of the best dinners in our recent memory. Unreal food and drinks at a reasonable price. VERY accommodating staff. 10/10 need to come back

Delicious tapes and have wide range of cocktails to choose from. We are so full with their generous portion, couldn't.even order any desserts.

The food of this place is very good and there is a good variety of tapas. The service also was great and very quick.Trying the fried camembert is a must!
