I cannot recommend Pilates Just for You strongly enough and look forward to my studio class each week. Initially I joined the class to tone up a bit but I have got so much more out of the classes. The weekly programs are always varied and combine a balanced focus on posture, flexibility, mobility, and strength. I love that classes are intimate allowing the instructors to modify their planned programs based on the clients needs. It is clear that Mary and Amanda have an extensive knowledge of both Pilates technique and human physiology and truly care about their clients.

Mary’s holistic approach, professionalism, knowledge and friendly personality all combine to make her Pilates classes very enjoyable and worthwhile. I always feel great after her class. I love my weekly pilates class with Mary. She is very knowledgeable about Pilates and cares about her clients.
Mary is great at adjusting exercises to meet each individual’s needs.

I just completed Mary's 10-day challenge and it was fantastic! I've had a go at Pilates in the past, but I never quite understood how I was supposed to feel. Mary is so good at explaining and guiding you through the movements. Even in online classes, I feel totally supported and she always manages to say just the right thing if I'm getting off track with the movement. Her classes are subtle and hard work all at the same time, and some of the movements leave me feeling like I've been at the gym for an hour. I highly recommend Pilates Just For You.

From the first time I visited the website, through to my first (and ongoing) classes, I knew I found the right studio. Mary clearly takes great pride in providing structured classes that benefit anybody, and is motivated to encourage all participants to get the most out of the classes. I highly recommend Pilates For You. In a class of four people, Mary makes it feel like it's a private class. I do love this class. Mary is wonderful to work with and her classes are excellent.

Over the years I've done Pilates with Mary I've always appreciated her positive and supportive approach. The classes have been very beneficial to me, in terms of posture, strength and flexibility. Mary is knowledgeable about Pilates and the body, she provides clear instructions and modifies exercises for each client's particular needs. Another great aspect is that each week Mary varies the exercises, keeping the sessions fun and interesting.

I have been going to pilates with Mary Van Orsouw for well over a year now and I joined to get some flexibility into my old joints and loose some weight. I have managed to achieve both of these and thoroughly enjoy my weekly classes with Mary. She is so attentive and fun in the workouts and although I sometimes curse the next day when I can’t walk 😆I look forward to these pilates sessions and really miss them when I’m away travelling.

Mary's Pilates classes are excellent. She is very thorough and articulate when demonstrating and explaining each exercise. She provides modifications for those with injuries or limitations, and advanced options for those wishing to extend their Pilates practice. I highly recommend Mary, you will not only gain strength and flexibility, but a better knowledge of how your body works and how you can keep it healthy.

I started Pilates with Mary mid last year. I was looking for something more personal than a big class situation and Pilates Just For You is perfect. The class is small so each person gets individual attention using reformers and mat work. If you let Mary know of any areas of your body that are giving you discomfort she modifies your exercises to relive pain or strengthen that area. I have never really enjoyed going to exercise classes previously but now I look forward to each class. The people in the class are lovely and I leave feeling so much better and with some suggested exercises I can do at home. I highly recommend Pilates Just for You.

Mary is friendly & competent. She has great knowledge & guides us through each class with expertise, always adjusting the exercises for people with injuries or issues.
I feel so much stronger especially in my core & leg muscles.Pilates has improved my body both physically & mentally.

Mary is fantastic to work with and her classes are really wonderful. Workouts are tailored to your needs and you always feel cared for. I should give this review context – I am a 40+ year old male who has a long history of chronic issues with my back, hips and shoulders and am recovering from another back injury and shoulder surgery.

I do Pilates as a means to recovery and to allow me to continue to keep active and play sport and I find that Mary is outstanding at customising and targeting the areas that I need to work on to improve my strength, flexibility and recover from my injuries.

The sessions are conducted in an excellent environment – new, clean and relaxed, and well designed for someone like me that I keep correct technique and load so I can ensure that I progress my rehabilitation through continuing to build strength and flexibility – helping me to manage and prevent further injury.

I started Pilates during the lockdown. Constant sitting had made my bad hips worse and a constant pinching that could never be cured. I am a "stretchy" person so I could always perform any task a physio would ask me to do which always ended with the same outcome, " you have full mobility and good strength, you shouldn't hurt so much, keep stretching".

I started online classes, after the first class, I realised that all of my small hip muscles seemed to be the issue. After a week of classes the pinching that had been around for a couple of years had subsided. I could walk longer distances without my legs being in pain. I used to be very active but due to the pain, I felt in my legs when I ran or walked I just didn't want to walk or run very far.

Six months on from starting my Pilates journey, I am very happy to say that I am able to run 5.7 Km's without stopping and I'm pain free.

I would certainly recommend Mary as it is clear she is passionate about making a difference for people. She takes the time to understand your mobility issues to make sure you get the most out of her classes. No matter you skill / mobility level, she always has 2-3 variations of the exercises. Mary is very open to feedback for any issues that you may be having to ensure you are getting the most from the classes.

The adaption to online classes has been fantastic, studio classes are often fully booked. I really enjoy the flexibility of having access to the online classes and video library so I can do my classes anywhere and anytime.

Please keep the online classes going, they have been a life changer.

If you are looking for a great Pilates instructor, you can't go past Mary. She is extremely knowledgeable, and tailors her sessions to your specific needs. The classes are small which gives a one on one feel and they're always heaps of fun. I leave feeling much better than when I arrived. (Except after 'Sally Up ' week - those sessions were tough, took me a week to get over it, Ha Ha)
Mary has helped me get over my chronic back pain, which I never thought was possible. We have had a setback with Covid-19 and business' shutting, but that hasn't stopped Mary, she has adapted the classes to zoom. Looking forward to getting back into the studio and onto the reformer again. Keep up the great work Mary, we really appreciate it.

I have attended Pilates classes with Mary at Precision Pilates since 2014 and it is the highlight of my week. Mary is professional, articulate, calm, knowledgeable and provides an excellent service. I would highly recommend Mary's services and can personally share that after spending an hour at Pilates with Mary I always leave the studio feeling immensely happier, fitter and stronger!
