Schoolmasters Digs Accommodation

My Husband and son stayed at schoolmasters digs on a recent mountain biking trip. Great location right next to the Maydena mountain bike park. Lovely and clean property. Great to be able to clean the bikes at the end of the day with bike wash, stands and bike tools available. Fast communication from hosts will stay again.

The house is easy to locate in Maydena and we (4 adults, 3 children) stayed for 3 nights. It was extremely clean, comfortable and very welcoming.This last week has been the coldest and wettest in Tasmania this winter, but, thanks to the lovely fire, the whole house was very warm. The washing machine and drier were much appreciated. The bike park is just next door, however, due to the weather, our teenagers were unable to attempt the tracks. So, we are looking forward to returning in the summer. Thank you Larry for being a great host!

Schoolmasters Digs is a great place to set up for endless MTB being well maintained in a superb location right next to the bike park. A large kitchen and living area with superb views. Very comfortable after a hard day of riding.

My son and I spent 5 nights at the Schoolmasters Digs recently on a mountain bike trip, what a great choice! It's located about as close to the action as you can get, straight through the side gate and you're in the Maydena ride park ☺ It has everything you would need, both for riding (tools / workstand / bikewash etc) through to the warm combustion heater and lounge, great for kicking back after a hard days riding. We are already talking about a return visit. We also stayed at the sister accommodation in Derby (Derby Digs Barn) which was equally as impressive.

We stayed at the Schoolmasters Digs over Easter. It was a last minute booking because when we tried to check in to our alternate accommodation, we found that our cottage had been double booked. So we were very grateful for the prompt service by Larry. The property is very well set up with nice new carpets and is literally next door to the bike park! We would definitely recommend the Schoolmasters Digs.

Schoolmasters Digs is immediately next to the Maydena Bike Park so no extra travel is required to start your biking. This accommodation is extremely clean, comfortable and spacious. Great facilities for bike storage and cleaning.The best place to stay in Maydena!

Awesome place to stay. Straight through the side fence into the Bike Park. No better place to stay. Setup with everything you could need from cooking, BBQing through to working on your bike. Will definitely go back.

Stayed here as a group of 12 mountain bikers. Was FANTASTIC! Location is close to everything, walking distance to local cafe and trail heads not far at all! Accommodation was very clean and modern. Would highly recommend!

Fantastic place to stay in Maydena, through the school master's side gate straight into ride HQ. The house has been done up to a high standard and was really comfortable. I'll be staying again, and for longer next time, 3 days was not enough!

Very nice accommodation right next to the bike park. Clean, convenient and cozy for the whole family. Would highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back again.

Due to unforeseen circumatances, Larry accommodate us last minute and provide us with all the necessary assistance we need. Place is huge and suitable for big family of 12 and plenty of amenities available. Thanks again Larry.
