Landsborough Museum

Saw an advertisement about the Landsborough Museum, so we thought to pay it a visit. It's worth stopping for a look and finding out the interesting history of this whole region. The displays are well organised - and especially all the activities around logging timber in the past explained. The tools used amazing.
Very well done - the Council can be proud of this treasure about the past. Very educational for children.
It's definitely worth a stop to check it out! Thank you to the staff who did the introduction.

Very cute little mini museum of our local historic Landsborough town. Free entry for the end weekdays at the moment.

Welcomed warmly and shown around by a very friendly lady. Then left to wander around ourselves. Well stocked with local treasures. Very well set up and a wealth of info available for anyone interested in researching the local history.

Cool little place to check out nice collection and history info and it's free I was hoping they had old time pics of the train tunnel in Landsborough but it just another spot to visit in person

Fantastic little museum with lots of local historical information. Entry is free so I recommend everybody to drop in when passing by.

Really good place to see the history of Landsborough and its culture

The extent of historical collection inside cannot be gauged by looking at the bldg. There is something to interest everyone as they have carefully displayed items from daily life, civics, industry, politics & war.
Small entry fee, locals can revisit free in 6 months.

Whilst a small museum there is plenty of exhibits and a printed guide as to what each one is and does.
Staff are extremely friendly

What a great local museum, with all artefacts donated from within the Landsborough and Caloundra vicinity. The volunteers were great, and my kids were all engaged in the displays. We all really enjoyed it!

Great history of the area. Lots to think about and worth having a look for an hour.

Yesteryear pioneers, a lot of artifacts to see, couple of TV's showing locals talking about the history of the town, low entry cost, highly recommend

10 bucks (9 concession) maybe not cheap for a smaller town museum, but well worth it!

I love this place it is well laid out and looked after
