Stayed overnight recently. Toilets clean, some expected road noise and one train. Very handy for us as we travel north and south and will be returning next time. And the fresh pineapples are really good 👍 😋

Actually never stayed here, but have had smoko/lunch here, but it can fill up quickly with other travellers

Great place to overnight. You can stay a maximum of 20 hs for free. It has toilets, no showers tho.

Great rest area with all requirements needed with a rest area, covered picnic tables, toilets & plenty of room to pull up.
Even an area used further over towards the railway line with free campers. Has a rooster & hen running around would be getting a lot of free feeds.
Also has a honesty stall of pineapples here none when I was there only the tops everywhere.

A true Australian camp site, very relaxing, being an Aussie sites like this are becoming rare. Working hard all our lives, more sites like this should be accessible. Big congratulations to the Council. We love the peace & not being controlled by heavy handed common sense rules. We always respect the land & hope it will always be & remain a wonderful camp spot. 🐦🇦🇺🌿🍃

Yep this was a great little free campsite no showers but a beautiful stop i worked on my computer all day with my solar set up and yet I camped in the shade all day! Yay

It has a driver reviver on the busier holiday times. Toilet and water available. Shady and quiet (except for the trucks passing).
