Tropicana Caffe

Have been coming to this Cafe for almost two years for a coffee, so a review was long overdue. The coffee is great, the food is good (but not spicy enough for me), but the best part is the welcoming staff and owners. They make you feel so welcome that you would want to return again and again. :) Also, it opens pretty early in the morning, so that's a plus for anybody looking for a caffeine dose to get up and running 😊

I tried the ricotta hotcake stack off Tropicana’s new brunch menu!! omg yum yum !
My partner had the Tropicana bowl which was delicious..
Staff were super friendly too!

I went in for lunch and ordered the fish n chips which was so nice! Very tasty and not greasy at all. I've been going to Tropicana for years and always enjoy the food.

Impressive customer service, coffee was excellent and our made to order Hotcakes and other breakfast selections were excellent!

Came in for breakfast. The garlic bread was soft with a crunchy crust. The service was excellent!

I visit Tropicana frequently with a friend and I've always had a positive experience. They make a great Caesar salad, and the sandwiches have always been very good portions. The coffee is very nice too. Thank you Tropicana and see you again soon!

Excellent fish & chips with salad and a glass of house-white (which is always really good). The staff couldn’t be nicer.

I love this place. Since moving to the area my partner and I have gone 4 times and it's always good. The pollo and fungi pasta last night was a show stopper. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. Staff are nice too.

You need to rate places based on what they are. This is a really great unpretentious institution. Excellent coffee great focaccia, flat bread Italian sandwiches. Ham and cheese croissants and cooked breakfast. Good thick shakes and juice. Really a great breakfast and lunch spot hat. Also offers simple dinner. Portions are generous service really quick after you order at the counter.

It's just returned after lockdown. Trying to get back to where it was pre covid. It's fine a good job. The staples are all still excellent. Some special menu items need improvement but on the whole this is an excellent restaurant with an easy and casual vibe. An institution. Sydney would be much worse without it. Prices Jan havee gone up a bit but it's still an bargain and very good comfort food.

The old favorite since 88. white toast scramble eggs / coffee or smoothie.

This is a bit of a Sydney institution, and the perfect place to have a Sunday morning brunch after a hazy Saturday night.

To describe the food, I will just say it is simple food done well. Nothing too fancy here, so don't bother if you are after some nouveau cuisine.

It can be a nightmare to get a table here sometimes, as it is generally busy. But then again I have only ever been here on a Sunday morning, so other times of the week you may fair better.
