Gourmet Tarts Catering

Gourmet Tarts came highly recommended by several people I knew who had used them and I was really happy with their service and food. We did a cold, buffet style, sit down dinner for 12 for an important family celebration and Lyn was forthcoming with great suggestions, had plenty of vegetarian options and was happy to adjust to our desires. Most importantly, however, the plentiful food was delivered exactly on time, was presented beautifully and was truly delicious. It made what is usually a busy stressful day into a relaxed enjoyable day for me. I will be making a habit of using Lyn in future. Life's too short!!

Our family has used Lyn and her team for various family functions over the past 7 years. She is such a lovely person to deal with and nothing is ever a problem. Lyn has always come up with a menu for us that she is very flexible in adapting (for taste preference or dietary requirements) and the food is always delicious and fresh. Her team that help with waitressing, drinks, etc. are always very friendly and professional. Guests always comment on the food and how well organised she is. So less than 3 weeks from the date with invitations already sent out, Gourmet Tarts came to the rescue! We are so grateful. You saved the day. You made selecting items for the menu a breeze and were ready to help in any way you could. Most notably virtually every guest specifically commented how good the food was and how lovely your waitresses were. As promised there was plenty of food and it was all delicious! In hindsight, if it weren’t for a bit of stress, we were fortunate the venue cancelled!

She has looked after many events ranging from cocktail functions, corporate events, fund raising events, special intimate dinners, family get-togethers, a wake, and so on. Gourmet Tarts pride themselves on serving delicious and healthy food, and our kitchen is always spotless after the event. The set up is seamless and, as hostess, I never have to worry about anything. Lyn and her team catered for my mother's 80th birthday and it was a huge success! The food was delicious with a large variety to cater for everyone's diet preference - paleo, vegetarian, vegan etc. Lyn and her staff are delightful to deal with, nothing was too much trouble and the service and quality of the food was outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate to have Lyn cater for us again - it was a really wonderful experience and I would highly recommend her and her team.

Our family have use the wonderful catering company a number of times: for a 21st Birthday, A funeral Wake, Company dinner for 90 guestss and a New Year party - every time we have found the quality of the food to be top notch and the service very good - the staff are always polite and well trained (well dressed too which is important to us). We can not speak too highly of this service and would recommend to all our friends. With plans for further parties we will turn to Gourmet Tarts again.

Lyn is an outstanding caterer whom we have had the pleasure of catering for us on each of our two sons christenings, my wife's 40th and my 40th.
Her food and service is outstanding, which was also the feedback we had from many of our guests. Would highly recommend her services without a doubt.

I decided to surprise my wife with a 25th wedding anniversary "Renewal of Vows" cocktail party and after that, a second honeymoon overseas. The only thing is that I wanted it to be a surprise for her! Lyn at Gourmet Tarts was amazing in organising everything at the catering end: from the flowers to the drinks from our cellar - to the multi-course cocktails and mains - to the next day's cleaning up of the house of our kind friends (who loaned it to us for the "cocktail party"). She worked on a suggested menu whilst I was on a business trip overseas, sized our staffing requirements and even took care of the airport transfer arrangements for (very early) the next morning!

Both the food and service was superb, and our 25 guests (plus marriage celebrant) did not want for anything. We particularly appreciated the fact that at no time were you or your staff intrusive into the proceedings - things just magically appeared and then disappeared. On our flight home yesterday, my wife commented that this is a hallmark of a sensitive, professional caterer - and I completely agree with her. We had been referred by a friend - known amongst our circle of friends for her fastidious standards - and we were certainly not disappointed. We will certainly use this company again and can unreservedly recommend them to anyone reading this review. Thank you, Lyn! We couldn't have done it without you...

Best catering company around! We have not stopped hearing comments from our guests about how amazing the food was. We couldn't be more thrilled with the quality of the service as well. The staff were very professional and served everyone quickly. Lyn made sure everything ran smoothly. Extremely polite, great service and yummy food!

We used this business for the first time this weekend to cater for over 80 people at our home. The staff were prompt, professional and unobtrusive with their service, and left our home clean and tidy as they found it. The food was plentiful and great, especially the fish dish.

Would use them again and recommend them to others.

Fabulous, professional service. Lyn was accommodating to all our requests and prepped specific food for dietary requirements above and beyond our menu. These are all very substantial canapés too.
