Located just a short light rail ride from Town Hall Station, this cozy ramen spot is a true hidden gem. The service is prompt and friendly, and the 'Long Name' pork-based ramen is an absolute must-try. Every dish is crafted with meticulous attention to detail, making it my favorite and go-to place for ramen in Sydney. I'll definitely be going again the next time I visit Sydney!! 🫡

One of the best ramen in sydney! I keep coming back to have ramen here and it tastes perfect and consistent every time. Tonkotsu broth was flavourful and very smooth texture, noodle was cooked perfection. Friendly staff, service was well organised and the food came quickly. If you’re a fan of ramen, it’s a must-visit destination!

Simply first class, authentic ramen and side dishes without the mass produced rubbish. Everything is made in house, and it's amazing!

Terrific food and great ambience for a casual Mother’s Day meal with my son. I even received a pretty bunch of flowers from the lovely staff. We ate too fast to photograph our meal!

Manpuku is my favourite ramen place in Sydney by far. 😍 There are arrays of ramen to choose from the menu, as well as hot dishes, rice, salad & a few desserts.
The handmade noodles gives a springy texture which I love in any ramen place. You can choose which types of noodles you prefer even tho each ramen bowl is already preset for you.
The broth is rich & full of bold flavour. The nitamago (flavoured soft boiled egg) is cooked to perfection with a creamy delicious yolk. My recent visit I got a whole egg instead a half which gave me a pleasant surprise and I felt satisfying. 😃
I like how some of the ramen comes with a piece of printed nori with their name on it to add a bit of fun to the dining experience. It’s so unique! 🤩

Ordered the shio tonkotsu ramen, chashu don and the karrage don and all 3 were outstanding! My only comllaint would be the price is very steep and you can definitely find more affordable japanese food elsewhere, especially for the location not being in the city, you would expect it to be more affordable.

One of the best ramens i’ve ever had, although i would recommend adding toppings as it only came with 1 slice of chashu and some cabbage, i topped up $4.50 for an extra slice of chashu. The soup was very flavourful and i liked that it was frothy at the top, something i don’t see elsewhere.

The chashu don was really good as well with some egg topping and the meat was very tender and flavourful and a good portion for the small size. The karrage wasn’t too oily and was perfectly crispy, but it was a bit underwhelming as there was only the chicken and rice, so it was not really worth the price.

Ramen is amazing, especially for the soy pork broth, the noodles are chewy yet traditional, pork chashu is roasted and tastes so good. Service is good, the staff always welcome customers when they enter and thank them when they leave. Atmosphere is good, some light beat music in the background, the interior design is quite Japanese. So far the best ramen restaurant I’ve had in Sydney.

I had a quick lunch here and I decided to go with the classic ramen Tonkotsu shoyu. The broth was amazing. It's full of flavour, it's not too salty. For ramen, the most important part is the broth and I think they did it well. The pork chasiu is so fatty which is great, for me it's quite big so if they added another one would be too much for me. The chasiu was very soft so when you eat the fat, it's like melting in your mouth.
The decoration seems very Japanese, good lighting. The table looks very clean 😊.
I will come back to try more food

If you know of ramen you know that Manpuku (Chatswood) is one of the best in Sydney. I won't say that the Kingsford one is like the Chatswood one every time, just that when we went, it really was as good as Chatswood.

The great:
- the egg. They serve a whole egg and it's perfectly molten - no ooze, more on the done side to molten.
- the soup. Signature long name is balanced in taste and texture, thick but not too thick, on the border of savoury, fragrant. I enjoyed the burnt notes and the funk of the black gyokai too.

The fun:
- noodle thickness is different for different soups, which is a nice touch of detail. Shows that they care.
- at $20ish a bowl, they are remarkably in line price-wise with the midrange spots. Did they just not hike prices? In addition to being great ramen they're now a strong contender for value, for what you get.

The meh:
- food can take a bit of time to arrive. It is what it is.

All this is to say that Kingsford and its surrounds are lucky to have access to great ramen, so check it out if you have the cravings.

We had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, offering a delightful blend of flavors. The prices were reasonable, providing value for the quality of the dishes. The staff members were exceptionally kind and helpful, enhancing the overall dining experience. We worried about bringing a baby but, the restaurant proved to be baby and kid-friendly, making it a welcoming choice for families.

If you like Ramen this place is great! You need to try their signature Ramen which has a really long name! It's made from a soy base pork and chicken soup, delicious! I had Gyokai black which is a soy base pork with a hint of fish and garlic. The garlic is like roasted garlic and it makes the soup taste so amazing you need to try. The pork is soft and melts in your mouth. Really yummy tasting Ramen!

Broth is lighter but still pretty tasty. Good size servings. Quality ramen. Great karaage chicken and other sides. Has Asahi on tap, too ✌🏼

The best ramen in town! We were lucky that have never been trapped in any queue. The food is always very quick, staff are lovely and the owner (or supervisor?!) is extremely friendly, always goes beyond his role to make customers happy!

Truly the best food I have had in Australia. If I could give it 1000 stars I would. The ramen is by far the best I have ever had. The boil egg in the ramen was creamy with just enough york to die for. The broth had Titanic levels of umami. Light delicous just enriches your soul with every drop. If you like ramen or even if you hate it this is the place !!
