Dr Queeny Wong

Dr Queeny Wong is an amazing OB! She delivered my first baby via C-section on the 12th of Jan and I can’t speak highly enough of the experience. All the GPs and medical professionals I have spoken to love and recommend her and I can see why.

From start to finish, the care I received was excellent. Her patience and professionalism was exactly what a first time mum like me needed.

She works incredibly hard and yes, for her early appointments sometimes she runs late because of emergency deliveries etc but that’s completely understandable - if not reassuring that when you need her most, she will be there.

During your consultations, she always answers all your questions - you never feel rushed. A few times in my first trimester I had some bleeds and Dr Queeny would fit me in immediately that day to do checks and to reassure me that everything was okay.

My recovery process has also been great. Baby was delivered healthy and happy. And that’s the most important thing!

My husband and I will definitely be back to see Dr Queeny for our second.

Dr Queeny Wong is truly an exceptional doctor. Anyone will be silly not to chose her to be their OB if they are considering going to St George Private.

She is caring, thorough and gives you all the necessary information needed about your and your babies health.

She delivered all three of my babies and recommend her to everyone I know.

I was recommended to Dr Queeny by friends who also had babies delivered by her. I also highly recommend her. My experience has been great, she's very friendly, thorough and listens to what you'd prefer as birth plan. The labour itself went really well, she talks you through the process and provided clear instructions to follow.

Yes she runs late sometimes for the appointments but that's expected from her line of work! And her receptionist Michelle has always contacted me to let me know she's running late and kept me updated re estimated time.

Dr Wong was my doctor for my pregnancy and delivery not too long ago. I felt very comfortable and safe in her hands. She is very thorough and will answer all your questions. With that in mind be prepared to wait for your appointment. Just like she will give you the time and service to you she does with all her clients and hence her appointments run a bit on the long side. Michelle the receptionist was excellent at informing us of how late appointments were running so we wouldn't have to wait too long at the practice.
Dr Wong is very knowledgeable in her field and will provide all possible information to make decisions.
I highly recommend her and her team.

Excellent Doctor, you understand during delivery, she might be late at early check up appointments because she gives excellent care when you need it the most. Which is during the big day and subsequent week of the delivery. I have smallest scar from a needed c section.

Dr. Queeny Wong delivered our baby last year. I had a wonderful experience. Dr. Wong is extremely knowledgeable, patient, caring and approachable. She was very thorough during the regular checkups which were never rushed. I always felt like I was in safe hands, especially during the birthing process. Thanks Dr. Wong!

Dr. Wong delivered three of my children and I cannot recommend her highly enough to others. She has great bedside manners and superb clinical skills - she's also up to date with the latest guidelines and recommendations. Her receptionist is professional and is always courteous.

Dr Queeny delivered two of my babies. I am very very happy with Dr Queeny, her care, her bedside manner and her commitment to her patients. I know others have focussed on the latest equipment or the "experience" of the "journey of pregnancy" but my personal opinion is that she helped me deliver two healthy babies. I was safe. I was able to deliver both naturally. I would say she did a great job. For the men who are commenting on Queeny as an OB.. what the?! and for the women who are focussed on the "journey".. seriously, snap out of it. You want a healthy baby and you also want to get through it in a healthy manner too. Don't get caught up on instagram vibes of how your OB office is meant to look.

Also, Michelle has the most under appreciated role. Yes, she can be a bit stern, but I'll tell you now she is so calm under pressure. I called the office in a panic part way through pregnancy due to some bleeding and she dealt with it so well. Think about what you actually want from your OB. and please... stop commenting or reviewing if you're a male. Its a bit weird don't you think?!

Went to Dr Wong for my first baby and will see her again for me second. She was lovely and supportive the whole way. Highly recommend

We had Queeny deliver our first little princess in December 2016 and now we are back to see her again to have Queeny deliver our 2nd Bub around April next year. We would never even think of going anywhere else at all.
Her receptionist Michelle is lovely too.

My wife and I were very happy with the management and delivery of our first born. Dr Wong appeared to be very knowledgeable and competant. We felt at ease and well informed every step of the process.

Dr Queeny is great! I would highly reccomend her. She's super professional and lovely and makes you feel so comfortable.

What can I say. Queeny has delivered all 3 of my babies. Very thorough.

Dr Wong was fantastic and I found her receptionist to be extremely professional and efficient.

Receptionist is disgusting in manner and a good impression of the overall treatment here. They had a broken ultrasound unfixed for 6 months. Queeny makes a decent first impression but will quickly lose her temper and you become just another number to them. Keep looking.

Heard lots of good review of Dr. Wong online and my main reason for considering her was because she's a female OB. Having said that, I did not end up going with her. I have to say the rating is more to do with the receptionist who talked to us on the phone and (did not) greet us at all upon our appointment. Little things make a different and I have to say the service we have received up to that point was miserable. Dear receptionist, please change job if you don't want to be there. You really need to go on a customer service course and up your skills.

I DONT RECOMMEND

Dr Wong has to improve her time management and efficient communication skills. My initial appointment got cancelled because of emergency delivery. I can understand this. But afterwards, i have another appointment with her at 2:45pm and had been waiting for 1.5hr. At around 4pm, i had a consultation for 1hr. It was not satisfactory conversation with her as we went through all the results I already confirmed with my GP and she explained too much details. For example, we were talking about NIPT result which is all normal. But suddenly she gave me the lecture of chromosomes etc. She want me to take another blood and i asked her if she can add extra examinations like cholesterol level. Then she talked about her family’s chol level. I dont think this is necessary. In general, i personally think that she talks about too little stuff wasting my time and energy.

She has old ultrasounds machine and I barely see my babe. I was 13wks. No internal scan was required but she suggested indirectly. She should change her machine instead of doing unnecessary things.

Additionally, receptionist is lazy and rude. How she treat client is so unpleasant and irresponsible. She does not even claim the medicare rebate. She told me that i can do it with medicare app. She has bad feedbacks from different people in google review but I wonder why she still work there.

Dr Wong’s fee is more expensive than other doctors. I don’t think this is worthy to pay for my little one and decided not to see her. If you like to go through all the little extra stuff, you may like her. But you should sacrifice yourself and time.

I am deeply disappointed how i was treated by Dr Wong and her Receptionist.
Thursday I phoned to make an appointment to see Dr Wong.
As this was my first visit, the receptionist asked personal questions about my condition.
Firstly, I felt uncomfortable saying my issues to reception then I was put on hold and told Dr Wong will access my issue and reception will phone following day to make an appointment.
Today I received a call saying Dr Wong cannot see me as my issues aren't in her field.
I am a 24 year old young lady who has constant bloating, heavy bleeding and cramping discomfort and wanting help and all I get was "Dr Wong cant see me" then I questioned what is her field then if she cant see my conditions.
The Receptionist followed answering that Dr Wong just got back from long service and is too fully booked.
They are liars. They dont care . Felt like I was shifted to another gynecologist.
Is this how a professional treats someone young asking for help.
Its disgusting to lie and be so rude on the phone.
Such a shame that my sisters have had their child delivered with Dr Wong.
Deeply disappointed !!

I called up Dr Wong's office today to enquire about her services and gap charges. It was so disappointing that the reception lady's phone manner was really bad! Her answers were only either Yes or No, without further explanations. On top of that, her tone was so impatient and so bad to the extent that I could not continue with the conversation. I had checked with 4 other OB receptions so far. NONE of them had such a bad manner. I believe Dr Wong is a great OB. It is a shame she has a disrespectful reception as her customers' first contact.
