Snug Beach Cabin & Caravan Park

Fantastic caravan park. Beach right behind us, excellent amenities lovely and clean, and staff were very helpful and were right about how good the Chinese down the road was. Very peaceful and quiet. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

This Caravan Park is excellent for an overnight stay. Located near Margate and Kettering/Bruny Island, it is easy to access the beach, nearby park and tennis courts, and the river. The town centre is only a few minutes walk away, allowing for easy accessibility.

When my partner and I arrived at Snug Beach Cabin & Caravan Park we had planned to stay only one night. That night turned into four nights, then two more nights after two nights in Hobart, then another night after a night in Cockle Creek. Like a magnet we are inherently drawn to the warm, calm and cozy atmosphere of the park. And after two months of having tried nearly every campground and caravan park in the Eastern half of Australia and all of Tasmania, the Snug Beach Cabin & Caravan Park is without a doubt our favorite.

The amenities are exceptional: clean bathrooms, wifi, a nice kitchen with a comfortable sitting area, a fire place, etc. The location is perfect: right on the beach, an IGA just up the road, strategically situated for easy day trips to Bruny Island, Cockle Creek, and Hobart. If you are looking for somewhere serene for an extended stay or a place with everything you need while just passing through, then look no further than Snug Beach Cabin & Caravan Park!

Make sure you leave ample flexibility when planning your trip, as it is very likely you'll be finding yourself in Snug for longer than you expected.

We just spent nine days staying at snug Caravan Park beautiful place. The owners were very helpful. Answer the question we asked everyone was very friendly. I would not hesitate to go back there again.

I was sleeping in the car park next door when unfortunately I locked myself out of the car (inexperienced young backpacker) so I found refuge in the campsite and spent a few hours in the lovely kitchen heated by the stove. The next morning weeping, I asked the owners for help who cheered me up and, understanding the situation, managed to open the car. They were truly helpful and kind, my saviors whom I thank with all my heart :)

We enjoyed our 4 night stay. Amenities were clean. cabin was clean and comfortable.

An absolutely beautiful place to stay on our van with a short walk to the beach ensuite was so clean and well appointed and the staff were very friendly

This place is amazing! Awesome hosts, facilities, view, location. We were travelling from QLD & stayed here on our first night in Tasmania, loved the place so much came back here to end our holiday. Amy & Brad are awesome & very accommodating. Highly recommend them to anyone wanting somewhere to stay.

A 'snug' and quiet park, beautifully located with clean and comfortable facilities, including the most lush camp kitchen I've yet visited. Check in and out was flawless and the Owners were brilliant when I accidentally left something behind. Highly recommended.

Such a friendly, lovely, clean place to stay just out of Hobart. As we left today, we received huge waves from the managers. Little touches like the camp kitchen having a fire place going in there, Immaculately clean amenities and washing powder near the washing machines, made this stay a great one.
We will be back!

This is by far the nicest caravan park I have stayed in. The showers are lovely and the kitchen area is outstanding.

The little things like plants in the bathroom. A tv with DVDs and a fireplace.

The beach and the river are hidden treasures.

This park provides a great stay with a welcoming feel. The owners are lovely and caring, amenities are well kept and clean. Our stay was delayed due to an issue with our vehicle, we were glad we were able to still include a visit when we could and would definitely stay again.
