Great service and great prices keep up the good work

This place is great for tourists staying in self-contained accommodations. Their prices are very fair and they have a wide range of very local meat. I personally recommend either the kangaroo burgers or the stuffed lamb steak. The flavors on both were out of this world.

Their sausages are better than Nigel's

Learn what truly great meat is at this place. I *think* they grow their own cattle for the meat - but my goodness if you try the meat here I doubt you will be happy buying from anywhere else. Love these guys x

In no way are they pretentious or selling out to the gourmet wankerism that has taken over "Tasmanian produce"
Be greeted with a smile and a "howya goin' mate?" Discuss your day with a listening ear as you pick out the choice cuts from the cabinet. Great old fashioned service that keeps so many of us coming back.
Never ever have I had a better beef roast or t-bone than from here. Never have I had anything below restaurant standard from these blokes.
Snug butchers are number 1 on my list of "don't miss" attractions when Mainlanders visit.
