Ordered Mongolian beef and Singapour noodle. Both were very delicious. We arrived there late at night, 30 mins before the closing time, but that didn't affect the service. Friendly staff and good food.
The restaurant was nice and clean. My only recommendation is making it a bit welcoming.

We came based on the recommendations made in other reviews, and it was the perfect choice. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious, and the staff friendly and helpful. We had vegans and vegetarians in our party who were thrilled to see plenty of excellent options for them in the menu. Delightful place, 5 stars.

Awesome food, awesome service. Staff, owners and chef are super friendly. Kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef and the spicy soup were amazing. Mmm Satay Chicken. Best Chinese restaurant I have been to in like forever. Will come back to Snug just to go to this restaurant.

Fantastic restaurant- delicious food, large portions and friendly staff. Caters for vegetarians and vegans with clearly marked options on the menu and also able to be flexible with other items (e.g removing egg from fried rice dish to make vegan). Takeaway containers are compostable which is also a nice touch. Would recommend!

The food is excellent and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the drink prices are more than reasonable.

I have tried a variety of dishes here as friends live nearby, and everything I have tried has been tasty.
The staff are very friendly and the food wait time is short. Their meat dishes are tender, and the vegetarian dishes are flavourful - I enjoy their dumplings as well.
It is reasonably priced and I like going here as it is consistently good.

My girlfriend and I are visiting from Sydney and we wanted dinner as we finished our day around Bruny Island. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly their staff and seated immediately. We ordered the stir-fried seafood combination with Vegetables which has prawns, fish, squid, scallops and vegetables. We had this with 2 steamed rice (1 for each of us). We waited roughly 7-8 minutes for the food to arrive. Once it did arrive, the food smelled delicious already. Once we had the food, we were both blown away at how amazing it tasted. The food was cooked to perfection and seasoning was perfect. Our plates did not have a single left-over food item it was that delicious. If you're looking for a great meal, I highly recommend checking out Phoenix Restaurant. Our only regret was that we didn't order more food because we quite full with what we had.

Best Chinese food in a long time!!!
Wow, seriously impressed. Spring rolls and hot and sour soup both fresh and tasty. Prawn and vegetables for the main was again fresh, non greasy and the prawns cooked perfectly. Mongolian beef was probably best I’ve had anywhere. The beef melted in your mouth and the sauce was rich and plentiful.
There was only 1 younger girl serving and things got a bit busy front of house and in the kitchen, both for dining in and takeaways. I think this might be the only negative and could affect the service as food may come out disjointed in timings.
However, this was seriously one of the best Chinese meals we’ve had in a long time, and I live in Melbourne..

We are staying at the local caravan park and ordered a takeaway last night.
We've eaten some Chinese in our time but have to say this was the most delectable Chinese we have ever eaten.

What a gem! I’m so happy I tried here and it’s better than most Chinese takeaway in Melbourne. The homemade spring rolls were definitely home made and the Kong Pau chicken was full of fresh veggies and chicken. Absolutely loved it!

Great chinese quisine with friendly service, it is our go-to chinese restaurant for the channel area, easy parking on the main road in Snug, restaurant could do with a bit of a makeover but we seldom eat-in usually using the takeaway service which is consistently very good.

I absolutely love the beautifully made authentic food. The handmade dumplings and bao are delicious. Lovely people and great Chinese food. This place is a must if your down this way.

Phoenix is our go to restaurant for a fantastic weekday night delivery. We live in Lower Snug and delivery is always fast and hot. The staff are super-friendly and nothing is ever too much hassle. The food is always delicious and of ample size. I can recommend giving them a try - you will not be disappointed.

Such a delicious meal! Ordered our dinner from Phoenix Restaurant in Snug through menulog and the food arrived fast, hot and was truely delicious! No complaints from the fussy eaters in the family. Thank you! ♥
