Amber Restaurant Sydney

Fantastic breakfast place at Rydges World Square.
I had my breakfast buffet at Amber a few times during my stay at Rydges. Not sure if it's available even if you're not staying at the hotel but definitely worth it for $25 for the breakfast buffet (rate when you are staying with Rydges). There are heaps of choices and I like it very much when you can request different types of how your egg will be cooked. The place gets a bit crowded around 8am so better to go early if you're not into big crowds.
Will surely be back here when I stay at Rydges again.

Chose amber for my valentines date location for myself and my wife and we loved it. The atmosphere is really calm and not overly packed. The ambience is great. The menu was delicious, we both had the lobster for entre, Cod for main and. Chocolate option for desert and it was all amazing and perfectly sized.

The food was delicious and they were very generous with their serving. I was really impressed and I can’t believe I have never heard of this place before. Will definitely be going back!

Had the truffle and beer menu (ended in August 2020). Great food at a great price. Beer is from their partner, Sydney Brewery and complimented the food. My first food and beer pairing experience.

Breakfast was very good,lot of choice, orange muffin was amazing , staff friendly.

We love this restaurant, we dined again last night and loved every mouthful of our meals.
Sumit and his team are so welcoming, the atmosphere is really nice, just the right lighting.
Thank you to the talented chefs for providing such delicious meals.
We live in the Blue Mountains but will make the trek to dine at Amber.

First time ever dining in this restaurant in the city, I must say that it has a lovely quiet atmosphere. Food was delicious and portion was satisfying. Waiter named Sumit provided us an amazing service! Thanks for the great experience & would definitely come back for dinner!

The ' Butcher's steak' dish was outstanding! Beautifully cooked, tender, light pink medium-rare steak, lovely slightly salted deep ju with a delicately caramelised thin crushed polenta to accompany it. There wasn't one weak element to the dish. If being a hospitality teacher counts for anything, it is well worth the price! The customer service was also wonderful, with warm professional courteous staff!

Fantastic food!
I had the Snapper but the whole table was so happy, we began spontaneously sharing our dishes! The pork & crackling, the tomahawk steak & the truffle & prosciutto pizza were all amazing 🤩

The service here is very friendly. Their breakfast menu is simple but some good choices for the morning. Reasonably priced with a nice quiet atmosphere at 7am in a Friday. Comfortable seating and nice decor. Good choice for brekky.

The pizza was really yummy. Overall everything was really good, better than expected!
