Elay High Tea

We recently attended high tea and it was such a beautiful experience. The set up is gorgeous, decor is stunning (so many varieties of teapots and teacups) and atmosphere is lovely. The food was delicious, we had the summer 2024 menu. I loved both the sweet & savoury courses.

The selection of teas was vast and you were able to have several options over the course of the high tea. We loved trying the different flavours, as well as having a glass for water and a glass for the iced tea that was present on the table.

The most wonderful and special experience. Rachael, our beautiful hostess and chef, although she calls herself a cook, is exceptional in every way. I truly don't have the words to describe this exceptional lady, suffice to say she's simply wonderful. The delights of the high tea are mouth watering and every mouthful a taste sensation. The menu changes 5 times a year and I can't wait to savour the summer menu, simply divine 😋

Visited this beautiful high tea venue today with my mum and WOW. I have been to many high teas and this one is by far the best! The food is so flavoursome, different, and cooked to perfection by the lovely owner. The tea (both hot and iced) were also exceptional. This place is exceptional and exceeded our expectations. We will be back!

This is a one of a kind lovely private high tea. You have to call to make a booking for us it was 10am Sunday which may be the only day they do it. We just made a booking for two people and when we arrived there was only a few other groups also doing the high tea. It had amazing unique food and the decor and service made this the best place we have ever had high tea.

Omg out of this world. Food heaven. A step back in time. Beautifully decorated room, stunning tableware. Food was SO good. Great price. Host is delightful. This is a must do if you love a high tea.

A real hidden gem. I took my auntie and mother in law for high tea. The host Rachel was lovely, the food was delightful. Everything waw made in house. I will be back for sure. Everything was well thought out, from the decor, to the napkins to the china. I have had many high teas. This one is up there with the best. Just what I was hoping for and more.

This was our second visit to Elay. Just as the first visit,hard to find the words,to describe it Just so beautiful from the unique decor and atmosphere,to the wonderful attentive service and the most scrumptious food. This is a firm favourite for us now. Everything is just AMAZING!!!

This place is a hidden gem. Always book in early as they get full fast. The service is amazing and the food is awesome. I will be back.

Elay did not return any of my calls or messages when I tried several times over a week to make a booking. I will not be trying again. Other local High Tea venues in the area did answer and were happy to take my booking.
