Brightbird Espresso

This is a spacious and well appointed Cafe with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are attentive and polite. And the delicious fruit toast is made with thick slices of fruit filled bread. A great breakfast experience for me.

We went to this Cafe due to the fact that they had provided well written responses to a couple of poor reviews previous customers had left. We always read reviews of places we want to visit and value owners/managers' responses when they take the time to address concerns.
We were very impressed with the cafe including it's presentation, cleanliness, friendly staff, great coffee and delicious food. In addition, their attention to detail in keeping their patrons safe during Covid conditions is excellent.
If others read the couple of bad reviews , we suggest you ignore them and take into consideration the responses provided by the cafe. It is well worth a visit and great places deserve the support of their community to get them through the trials of 2020. We are holidaying in Warrnambool but will recommend Brightside to fellow travellers.

Amazing coffee, amazing food. Friendly staff. We are from adelaide and stopped here for breakfast on our way out to the great ocean road. Staff were helpful and made suggestions on where we should go! We will be back!

This place is unusually hip for Warrnambool but a great find - good food and friendly staff. It's a nice and light place too.

Stopped here for a morning latte before continuing our road trip and glad I did! The staff were friendly and helpful, describing their different types of beans. The latte was tasty, but the banana bread with butter was phenomenal!

Great spot for coffee and light food, super helpful staff and pleasant decor make this a personal favourite.

More 'lively' than 'relaxed' things can get a bit crowded and, in particular, noisy at peak times but this is the price you pay for success.

Coffee is a solid 'good' but the brews are too inconsistent to justify a great, especially if you're a hardened coffee snob.

*Edit* Still awesome! Definitely becoming a go to in Warrnambool!

What a find!
Single origin filter coffee made by a man who is both passionate and knowledgeable.
I had to sample both, of course.
The burger I ordered was delectable - pork based with a fusion of Asian flavours that complemented the meat perfectly.
Well worth the visit.

Very good service and food :) Very satisfied with everything here. Environment is peaceful and soothing. Waitress comes and ask if everything is alright and if you need anything else after you've finished your drink or meal. Very kind and polite :) highly recommend

Really good tasty food, quiet and happy environment. BLT was unlike any we tried before and was a lot better, my father saying it was the best he ever had. The Shaksukah is probably the best I ever had, that Dukkah made all the difference. Sourdough bread was really good. Coffee and tea were superb (we had the dragon chai tea and chai latte).
Best breakfast we had in ages. 10/5.

What an oasis this place is! We were just passing through Warrnambool on our road trip and were desperate for some good coffee. We got excited when we saw they were serving up coffee from Geelong institution Cartel, and to our delight, the coffee was spot on. In actual fact, the long black I had on the 72 hour natural fermentation process Riverdale Estate (India) was better than any espresso-based coffee I had in Melbourne during this trip. In a word - glorious!
We also had lunch, and again pleasantly surprised their gluten free game is strong. They even had lactose free milk, something my wife simply couldn't find anywhere in Melbourne. Win!!!

Best coffee out of all coffee shops in Warrnambool and we tried many cafes. Both the single origin and house blend are a winner. Owner and staff very friendly, will go back next time we are visiting! 👌😊

It is a bright, cheery and roomy place. It has a great menu, Really good service. My wife recommends the porridge, my son the pancakes.

Best mochas we have ever had! Both the white chocolate and normal mochas are insanely good! Purchased one originally and had to have another! A little gem in Warrnambool! Only wish it was closer to where we live!!

Fantastic coffee and their single origin regularly changes, which keeps you coming back to try the new flavour on offer (the current one from Guatemala is superb). Tasty food too.
