Lovely tea lounge with well priced & delicious food. There are also games to play, books to read & it’s attached to a gallery which is awesome! The owners & locals are lovely & keen for a chat. Very thankful to stumble across this unique & beautiful village, it’s really made our day :)

I always make sure to go the Poatina/Highlands Lakes on the way to Hobart (only on weekends in winter) so I can stop here. The vegan and gluten-free options change and are delicious. It's a very cute little cafe in the hills with a gallery and op shop. The owners are lovely. The coffee is perfect for the drive as well. 😉

On a cold and wet afternoon, we found this little gem hidden away.
The warm, cosy atmosphere was most welcome, and the service warned our hearts.
Our hosts were genuinely appreciative of our visit, as they made us feel at home.
The relaxed and comfortable decor made this the perfect stop for our weary bodies.

Beautiful place for a coffee, or a Turkish Delight hot chocolate. The cakes and slices are home made and lovely. I had sticky ginger slice. That's healthy isn't it??

Indian style tea in vanila flavour was fantastic. Nice and comfortable sitting arrangement. Really enjoyed and highly recommended to anyone visiting Poatina.

Adorable café in Poatina village. Very pleasant proprietors, good food and drinks in the cafe which is decorated with numerous teapots and most interesting art work.
