I can't imagine waking up to this view in this home each morning. Almost surreal in the flesh. I only passed through on my way to do the walk, unquestionably a beautiful part of Tasmania!

Wife and I have been long time supporters of Bush Heritage and Outa Oura was one of our must visits and our recent holiday in Tasmania. Worth the effort...

Glorious, stunning and awe-inspiring.
To think someone had the forethought to open their property so the public could enjoy such beauty restores my faith in humanity.
The walk to Drys Bluff is fantastic and highly recommended. It is tough but worth the effort.

We stopped at Oura Oura for a picnic on a sunny afternoon. The little bridge over the Liffey River and the flower-filled lawns were beautiful. The two ponies were very friendly and convinced me to give them the apple I had planned to eat as part of my own lunch. I was interested to see the start of Dean's Track behind the house, leading up to the top of Drys Bluff - a hard, full-day walk, gaining 1000 metres of altitude. We are long-time admirers of Bob Brown, and could imagine the many happy days he spent here.

Walked Drys Bluff. Regarded as one of the toughest day walks in Tasmania. 4 hours up and 1000 metres elevation gained. Very tuff hike. View from the top made it all worth while. Outstanding!!!
