Googarra Beach Caravan Park

We stayed here for one night before heading to Cape York We tried to sort out our itinerary so we could stay longer but we were locked in to accom further on. We enjoyed the ambience of the park. Open spaces… no other campers up close and encroaching our space even though the park was very full

Very good fish and chips. Best Lot burger I've had in long time.

Great park plenty of room. Amenities and camp kitchen top notch. The takeaway steak burgers were unreal.

Nice quiet park. Clean amenities. Plenty of space and lots of green grass to park any size van.
Tavern right next door.Easy Drive to mission Beach and Tully township. Dog friendly and a beach very close to take dog for a run..

What a little gem this is. Couldn't have asked for a better park to stay at, very clean and well maintained.

Our only regret is that we didn't find this park sooner.

Planned to stay 1 night, 2 weeks later we were still there, great park ,friendly people which make you feel very welcome.Happy hour is the best to get to know everyone there with a fire going.showers are great, very clean park. Owners of the park make you feel very welcome, There is always something happening at the park such as dart comps, happy hour, knitting lessons,etc.Park has its own ice, bait, fish and chips take away,Petrol,and own little pub out the back and a General store.If you like fishing is the place to go.Close to many Islands to see if you have a boat.We will be back again.

We stayed at Googarra Beach Caravan Park in late September 2019 and had a wonderful time. There were three adults and two little girls and we spent the time swimming in the pool and going sightseeing in the surrounding areas. The campsite is grassy and the ablution blocks spotless. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this caravan park to anyone who wants to stay along the Cassowary Coast.

I just wanted everyone to know that I think this place is brilliant. We stayed in a family cabin on site and the cabin was extremely clean, spacious and most important it was totally air conditioned. They have a convenience store on site where you can buy most things you would need, a nice pool and really pleasant surroundings plus the owners are really friendly. I would highly recommend this caravan park if you need somewhere to stay in Tully Heads

Peaceful quiet park and well looked after. Thick grass everywhere makes the place feel 10 degrees cooler. Highly recommend.

Nina and the team are incredibly helpful and always keen to support local business. We stayed when we first moved to town amid all the covid drama.. Best Fish and Chips as well !
A year on and Googarra Beach Caravan Park now support our local Bud Brothers Jerky. Get some there while you visit ! Thanks again Nina !

Great park large sites enough room for van car and boat great fishing one of the few places you can go ocean and reef fishing in a 3.7 car toper great boat ramp
