Juanita Nielsen Community Centre

This location is clean, modern, and well cared for. I go with my laptop to get a bit of work done in a quiet ambience with good Wi-Fi.

The Juanita Nielsen Community Centre is truly a gem in the heart of the city. From its modern facilities to the wide range of activities and programs they offer, there's something for everyone. The staff are always warm, welcoming, and eager to help. The center does an exceptional job in fostering a sense of community and inclusivity. I highly recommend it for both locals and visitors looking to engage with the community or find enriching activities.

I come to this place maybe ones every two months for different events. There is always something going on.
The space is really cool and we'll put to use. Clean and very amicable!

Went to the gym this morning for the first time in years. Really excellent facility. Great customer service from the moment you walk in. Shane at the desk does an incredible job with answering any questions you may have. Highly recomnend.😁

Juanita Nielson would be pleased, I think. Her legacy lives on through this proactive Community Centre. Easily accessed, a short walk just behind the Art Gallery of NSW, and over the Eastern Distributer walkway. Wednesday evenings there are free movies screened with an emphasis on environmental and social issues.
We watched a film called Blue.
Afterwards there was a short presentation on alternative lifestyle choices, and reasonably priced products for sale. Run by a dedicated
team of volunteers, it was an evening well spent.

Brand new gym, community center with changing activity programmes and a after school daycare in a beautifully restored industrial-style former warehouse.

This place is Great, and it has so much on offer for the community. Check it out if you live in the neighbourhood.
