Hanok Foods

I recently tried Hanok and I’m super impressed. So impressed that I went back twice in one week. Their Korean cuisine is authetic, delicious and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend their stews, especially the Spicy Pork Stew with Soft Tofu. The Bulgogi Stew is also really good, as well as their chicken. This is probably my favourite Korean food restaurant!!

Saw this cute new shop as I was driving past and thought I’d give it a whack. Best decision I’ve ever made! The dumplings are full and super fresh, almost bursting at the seams. I think they might be the best dumplings I’ve had in Sydney in a loooong time. The portion sizes are very large, so I’ll probably have enough for lunch tomorrow too. So glad to find an authentic Korean place in this area - I’ll definitely be back!!

I was craving steamed pork belly wraps and decided to try it by delivery via Uber & I was very impressed! The pork belly was soft, well seasoned & juicy and the accompaniments were just the right amount (lettuce, picked radish, kimchi, green chilli, salted sauce). It beats the pork belly wraps from other Korean restaurants in Strathfield, hands down!

The fried chicken was absolutely amazing…looking forward to going back. The menu posted here is a little old as they now do a few types of fried chicken…we are going to try a different one every week 😁

Best pork dumplings in Sydney. They provide you with a sauce with garlic, it's amazing. Just try, you won't be disappointed.

Best Kimchi in Sydney! I came it for something else but this is totally promising! They made all side dishes themselves! Great value too!

Finally, finally, a place in Sydney that does actual proper old-school Korean fried chicken, the real way. Amazing! It's absolutely perfect. The shop is tiny but the food is excellent, everything is clearly made in-house, and everything is delicious. What a joy! Will be back for seolleongtang at the earliest possible opportunity.

One of the best homestyle korean restaurants I've been to. The fried chicken was delicious, crispy and perfectly seasoned. The other soup dishes were also good too. Highly recommend if you're after good quality home cooked meals. The staff were also super friendly. It was a great all round experience.

Food is excellent and so is the service. The owner is so lovely and pretty much running it on her own - cooking, cleaning, serving - with some help from her husband and son and she is doing an amazing job. Would highly recommend Hanok.

My husband & I tried Hanok for the first time tonight & ordered take away.
We had the Dumpling Soup (Mandu Gok) the broth was so comforting & the dumplings were delicious.
Korean Fried Chicken is a must try.
We also had the Bulgolgi with sides which was so generous with beef.
Really good quality & tasty Korean food made with care. We look forward to trying more on the menu.

A tiny unassuming place that has some fantastic traditional Korean dishes. The bibimbaps are delicious, the staff lovely and efficient, and the prices are very reasonable. Nice to have some decent Korean food around!

Tasty and surprisingly authentic Korean food in a neighborhood where you wouldn't expect to find any. The manduguk soup with giant homemade dumplings and milky white seollongtang broth is particularly tasty.

This lady is killing it. Honestly, working on the food and keeping up with the hygiene of the store is astonishing. I know other restaurants that have 50 workers and are dirty. This legend cooks the best food I've eaten in a while and manages the shop is beyond me. 100% everyone should try out her meals.

Found this cosy Authentic Korean place for dinner. We ordered Bindaeddok, Jaeyook, Seoklong Tang. All dishes were really nice and reasonably priced. Dine in space was limited but sufficient for us.

Excellent authentic Korean food, great portions and extremely well priced. I ordered for takeaway the Korean fried chicken, Seolleong Tang (ox tail soup) and Bipinbap, served piping hot with 3 tasty sides! I will definately be back to try my favourties and more! So glad there is a local korean spot!

Wow I'm impressed and very happy that there's a Korean restaurant of this quality in Russell Lea and not Strathfield! Just ordered spicy dumplings and Yukgejang from a delivery app for the first time and they're very tasty and authentic. I'm glad I tried this restaurant. Will def come back to this restaurant many times.

New Korean take away restaurant in 2046. We tried the fried chicken, bimbimbap and bulgogi, which also came with 3 banchan. The food is tasty, mostly comparable to Korean offerings in Strathfield. The menu is more limited, though that's not necessarily a bad thing. A welcome addition to the area.

Simply delicious. We ordered the dumplings, glass noodles, bulgogi and fried chicken to takeaway. All meals were tasty, fresh and warm. A welcome addition to the neighbourhood.
