Hat Head Beach Cottages

We absolutely loved our stay at beach house 4. Had the best two night sleeps in the most comfortable king size bed we have had for ages. Beautiful clean and cozy beach house for the two of us. So close to beaches all around the cottage. Would highly recommend this beautiful treasure.
There is also a new upmarket supermarket around the corner! Jane and her husband Michael are fabulous hosts. Thank you both so much for making our stay very special

The Cottage was spotless clean, had more than adequate provisions for a week away. Was close to the beach, creek, bowling club and park. Really well set out for the family, we will definitely be returning.

Had the perfect 5 day stay for our family of four in Beach Cottage 1.Highly recommend staying here for a sublime holiday or weekend getaway. Jane's place is very clean, has a super well equipped kitchen with plenty of quality cooking utensils, two great living spaces enabling everyone to spread out, 3 good sized bedrooms all with super comfortable mattresses which make the world of difference and large bathroom with an awesome hot shower! Loved the undercover front area with a clean, quality BBQ, solid outdoor setting for dinners and board games,space for 4 bikes, surfboards etc and literally out the front gate into the clear, warm water of a high tide. There are many little extras that just made our stay next level and super comfortable. Jane is the perfect host...fantastic, efficient communication to ensure everything was on point and seamless for our stay. Thank you Jane, we cant wait to go back!

A perfect place to stay for a family vacation. Location is ideal for paddle boarding down the pristine creek and onto the beach.
Plenty of room for a family of 6 including 4 teenagers with surfboards, fishing gear, snorkeling gear etc.
A clean and tidy spacious home with everything you need including air conditioner, dishwasher and washing machine.
Short walk to the bowling club for meals and entertainment.
Really enjoyed our break and will be returning.

Stayed in the clean 1 bed cottage over Xmas.. private verandah and rear lane entry ..the perfect nature getaway next to the creek (where we paddle boarded) and 2 min walk to gorgeous beaches .. has everything for a a couple to get away.. Jane is an awesome host .. highly recommend.. we will be back!!

My partner and I stayed at Cottage 4 as part of our honeymoon roadtrip and absolutely loved it! The cottage is cozy, clean and is fitted out with everything you need (even has an extremely comfy king size bed) The owners are also super accommodating and lovely. Hat Head is such a beautiful little coastal town, we will definitely be back.

Hat Head Beach Cottage was an ideal home for my parents, sister & I to stay for a family wedding.
Its cosy, clean,comfy & location is perfect for walking to both the beach & bowls club!

The perfect house and hostess.
An older style beach cottage newly renovated.  Jane is very generous in what she supplies in the house. Lots of little extras.
The house is the cleanest we have ever had in a stay. The beds are really  comfortable.
It was very homely and had everything we needed. The undercover outdoor areas were fantastic for our family to enjoy meals together, play boardgames, to read or to just sit and enjoy the quiet and the view of the creek and mountain. Perfect for morning coffee. (Coffee Machine and Coffee provided by Jane)
The location is fantastic.
It is an easy few minutes walk to the beach for a swim and surf. We were able to access the creek across the road for paddleboarding down to the ocean inlet. The creek in high tide is delightful for swimming and snorkelling. There are also beautiful walks around the mountain in the National Park.
Hat Head is definitely a hidden gem worth visiting. Guarantee you will be back after visiting once.
Hat Head is a restful place for us to pause and reset. We love the peace and quiet. Jane's cottage made it just that bit more special for us this year.
Also on a side note, the Woolworths online shopping orders delivered to our door made our stay so much easier! We were so glad Jane mentioned it as an option.
Communication with Jane was really great, almost always instantaneous. She went out of her way to make our stay a pleasure for our family of 5. We will definitely be back.

Jane has done an amazing job with her cottages. We love staying here, it’s our home away from home! The cottage has everything that you need. The location is fantastic, just a short stroll to the beach and the inlet and the creek right opposite the cottage. The cottage is of exceptional cleanliness and good comfort for those relaxing days at home especially the cold aircon! Can’t wait to go back 😊

We've holidayed in Hat Head over the past few years and absolutely loved it!

A small, flat town running parallel to the beach..... don't expect any big shopping or cafe strips, the town's simplicity is It's appeal.

The creek at the southern end of town (particularly at high tide) is the biggest draw card.

The water colour is unmatched!

booked last minute.very very happy with our booking.compared to other places we have stayed at in this area we over packed due to this house has absolutely everything we needed only need to take your normal things.booked for my wife and me and all up 4 kids one baby.had everything high chair there for the baby Webber BBQ for dad to cook on.dishwasher absolutely perfect.stayed at alot of other houses and will definitely be booking here again this year.thankyou again for a beautiful stay

Great seaside location with wonderful beach and national park. Caravan park is well placed to provide access to all areas of interest.
