An excellent place to camp either up top on the wind or down below in the filter. Just be careful in going down. We saw medium size truck with a dual axel trailer spinning its wheels trying to get up - could still be there

Beautiful camping spot.
So relaxing sitting outside overlooking the dam.
Small walk down to the bridge for a swim, bath,( haha) fish, ( u do need a license to fish here) or just to look around.
There is an undercovered picnic area and toilets.
There are 2 areas you can camp. Up on the hill (which is flat for parking vans and plenty room for motorhomes.) and down the hill, which too is flat, which alsohas plenty of room for tents, vans and motorhomes.
But get I early... fills up quickly!

Nice spot, super quiet, clean flushing toilets. We grabbed a spot close to the road behind gate which was flat and had a nice view.

Great place. Easy access from the road. Heaps of options for a spot. An upper level and lower level. New toilet block and lots of under cover areas with picnic tables. No entry fee.

Free camp (7 nights max.) view beautiful sunset. We loved the little house to use it as our camp kitchen. They have flush toilets.

Great place there's 2 levels we stayed up top near toilets but there's a lower camp ground

If you're after a light show before bed. This quiet, tucked away little secret has it. Spent nearly a week here and loved the bird and animal life. Perfectly placed for sight seeing with Mount Field, Ouse, Hamilton and New Norfolk all within an hours drive.

What a lovely place to stay right on the river or up the top. Don't forget to go to the Tall Trees walk, they are well worth the visit.

Clean and free campsite . 2 clean toilets and a small shelter in case of rain. Great view of the nearby lake.

Cosy little hidden gem of a camp ground.

No shade unless you're lucky to get the shelter from the small shed.

Stayed for one night, great view up the top. Toilets cleaned and bins emptied regularly from the looks of them.
