What a lovely two night stay in this wonderful mountain hideaway , greeted on arrival by Brian , we were made to feel right at home . The room was everything one could expect ,clean , cosy and magical , so many little extras that made our stay so much more enjoyable . The location is to die for , long slow walks are the order of the day but being only a stone throw from town , fine dining is close at hand . Brian is the perfect host and goes out of his way to make your stay as memorable as is possible , we look forward to returning to this serene escape .

Privacy and high standards with beautiful country style class in accommodation

What an adorable throwback to simpler times. Before airbnb there was the bnb and that is what this place encapsulates. The feel of this place will make you feel at home in the mountains. The touches of a good host range from the local honey, the bottle of wine, the freshly baked bread or a nip of port before bed. This place feels like home. The spa bath is an awesome feature. We enjoyed it thoroughly, and while there were some issues with the reservation on check in Brian jumped into action to fix them quickly with a smile. We will be back as soon as we can.

Loved our stay in this beautiful cosy room. Located in a quiet and secluded end road in Blackheath with plenty of nature around. It was a very romantic getaway. Upon arrival we were treated with a bottle of red wine and chocolates. The room was very clean - white sheets and linen and sparkling white spa bath. There was also access to free WiFi! We will definitely come back!

What a lovely 2 night get away. Quaint little room with more niceties than expected, fresh sourdough, a bottle of red, lovely port and great spa. Great get away for a couple or someone on their own, quiet and safe.
