Loved the food .The service was excellent .I'm now in love with iceberg lettuce again after eating their side dish .The line caught fish ,a crisp skinned barramundi was awesome ....Dessert .As the rest of the meal was delicious, we got two to share rather than our usual one to share .
Oh, I nearly forgot ,if you like spice...the spicy margarita is the best I've had .

Quite lovely ambiance with nice staff and quality food. Portion sizes are quite small for the price but quite tasty. The Angus steak and fish were both great entrees and the burrata as an appetizer was nice as well.

Great menu and clever food, sits perfectly for the price point and location. So rare to find a chef that knows his offering/market segment and delivers to it. Doesn’t try to be something he’s not and as a result elevates delicious products beyond its station. Needs chicken protein on the menu somewhere, but aside from that it’s a genuinely good restaurant.

Definitely one of my new fav places to have dinner at. Superb dishes, full of flavours and texture. The menu was definitely thought thru and is a little different which we loved!
Highly recommend the meat, also the gnocchis were TO DIE FOR

Awesome dishes and great drinks! It was the first day of our Australia journey with a perfect end of day dinner at Drake‘s Eatery !

Great and upscale place
We got 3 plates really very well prepared and presented.
The taste of the food was tasty and awesome.
The combination of ingredients was unusual but well matched.
The location is near the beach but not Beachview.
This place deserve 5 stars however we would recommend to bring in the table a small basket of bread as used in the European tradition.And also keep on the table salt pepper and oil in a fancier way.

Went for dinner the other night and were blown away by the service and the food. Absolutely delicious fish with the most fantastic stir fried Brussel sprouts I’ve ever had. Venue is good for large plates and I’d recommend getting a variety of side dishes to share amongst friends. Good cocktail list too in a very comfortable setting.

This Cafe is quite beautiful in its location and design. The staff were super friendly and helpful with some dietary constraints. Menu is simple in its writing but packs an absolute swag of flavour in the dishes we had. Try the coconut rice....it'll melt your face.

Brunch was great, we had the rice pudding and breakfast bowl. Fresh, healthy and reasonable portions. Location is just up the street from the beach so it's less crowded and prices aren't as much of a joke as the ones beachfront. Definitely would come here again

My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves here. Both our waiter (who I believe was also bartending) as well as the presumed manager were quite attentive and generally pleasant. The first night we went we over ordered big time and could barely get through our meat and cheese plate, which was delicious but huge! Husband also had oysters, which came with a very tasty dressing, as well as the duck jerky- all good. Ended up coming back the next day for the rest we originally ordered - Gnocchi with zucchini flower and mushroom, iceberg with buttermilk dressing, spiced grains with lebna, duck Parmesan arancini - everything was fabulous 🤤 also had the broccoli leaves which, TBH, we’re pretty basic but satisfied my “I want something green and healthy” craving. Fun cocktails and super cute atmosphere too. Definitely recommend checking it out!

This was my birthday treat, and certainly wasn't disappointed. Doesn't actually look much from the outside, you could easily walk passed it, which we did! Fabulous service and some of the best food and drink I've had in many a year. Our host had wanted to take us to some fancy restaurant in Sydney, so glad we stayed local.

Great place to enjoy happy hour with $3 oysters and aperol spritz on the terrace.
Food is spot on. The pork belly is life changing. Definitely don't miss it.

Perfect for a group or an event! After contacting numerous restaurants about hosting a share plate lunch for my 21st birthday I had nearly lost hope before contacting Drake Eatery. Josh was so accomodating and the staff made every attempt to make my day perfect. With every change to the menu, dietary requirement and change of booking the staff took it in their stride. On the day the food was amazing and included everyone and I couldn't be more thankful. I will warn though that for an event there were some large gaps between courses but our party was more than happy to chat the afternoon away. Thank you and see you again soon !!

Great little spot. Surprised they opened late so tried it out & was a great decision. Food was great, staff were great - definitely recommend!
