An incredible date night at Chiswick sitting in a booth looking onto the front garden. Life musicians filling the room, with it's beautiful atmosphere and lighting to match. We enjoyed our surroundings and delicious cocktails and seasonal food. Helpful and delightful staff looking after us.

I recently enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Chiswick. The mafaldine pasta was so fresh & excellent. Service was attentive & our server had excellent recommendations on wine. It’s been 10+ years between visits here & I cannot wait to return.

It has been a long time since my last visit to Chiswick. It never fails to surprise and delight me. It transports you out of Sydney into an picturesque, English countryside. The lamb shoulder is always a winner and it was more than ample to feed the four of us with some sides. The food is delicious and really healthy depending on what you choose. To celebrate our friend living in Australia for one year, the staff were very accommodating, and helped us to decorate their delicious desserts with flags and candles. The waitress even came out singing Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi. It doesn’t get more Australian than this. I definitely need to come back more often.

First time at Chiswick, our only regret is not coming sooner! Everything was perfect from the food, to the service, to the setting.
The spanner crab gnocchi was the best gnocchi I’ve ever had, I’m still thinking about it. Really interesting and delicious range of starters and share plates. Always expected it to be super quiet, but the ambiance is just perfect - not too quiet, not too loud, and just allows for you to enjoy a really good meal with your group. Cant wait to come back ❤
Oh, and really love the non-alcoholic drinks menu - this was one of the reasons we booked!

We recently booked the entire Chiswick Restaurant for our evening wedding reception and can honestly say it was the most beautiful night of our lives thanks to the entire team at Chiswick. The events team were extremely helpful in the organising of every single detail and completely supportive through the whole process with Yasmin making sure every request was sorted exactly how we needed it to be. The floor team on the night were outstanding with the level of service and the quality of the food being something our guest continue to rave about.

The food was absolutely incredible. We ordered the Ribeye to share and it was so worth it. It melted in your mouth and paired perfectly with a glass of red. The service and atmosphere was also amazing. We will definitely be back again!

Exceptional. Masterclass in hospitality. Fantastic service and knowledge of the menu/wine. Super friendly staff. My partner and I got the tasting menu for 2 (the chef was kind enough to accommodate us - its usual for 4 people).

We had Reisling with oysters to kick off. Followed by the Barra-masalata, vegetable chips and Rosemary flatbread. The masalata is incredible. You need the flatbread to scoop up the rest of the masalata.

The Kingfish crudo, tomato sofrito, olive this was fresh and zingy. Tasted just as good as it looked. We went for a bottle of the Maison Rigal french orange wine. Would buy again. Its crisp and not sweet.

The lamb was exquisite. The mint and jus are a tremendous combo (leftovers packaged up and brought home for pitta pockets the next day). Herb mayo with the fries was delish. The winner was the braised field mushrooms, cabbage, macadamia. The flavour was like no other and truly unique. The macadamia works very well with cabbage.

We finished with the Pavlova, burnt honey, Montenegro cream. At this stage we had devoured too much. Tasty but I would of went for the cheese board.

The lunch experience on a Sunday was absolutely outstanding. The food was delicious and well portioned, the service was exceptional, and the drinks selection was terrific.

We were greeted by very helpful staff who assisted with accommodating our pram with a sleeping baby when we arrived, including moving us to a more suitable table. Throughout the meal the staff were wonderfully kind and warm, with a lot of good banter to add.

The food was amazing, we went with the chef's selection and catering to dietary requirements was no trouble at all (mainly gluten free). Highlights were the tuna, the lamb, and the baramasalata.

We had our wedding reception at Chiswick Woollahra in Nov and it did not disappoint. The food and service was exceptional on the day. Staff were amazing! Attentive and nothing was too much. The Events team (Bree) assisted in the lead up to our big day. They were helpful and made us feel at ease, however on some occasions they were slow to respond with communication. But we still had a very positive experience. Everything went smoothly on the wedding day and the in-house cake was gorgeous as well with flowers from the Chiswick garden. We provided the restaurant takeaway containers so our guests could take home some cake and they were more than happy to oblige. Our guests were blown away by the quality of the food and the lovely set up of the private room. Everything happened seamlessly.
We often eat here for normal occasions. Great food and attentive service and a lovely atmosphere. You have to try the Barra-dip...it's so yum! Make sure you book🙂

Booked a lunch for a family member birthday. They were very accommodating for kids as well as pregnant women. Once we have mentioned we have a pregnant woman at the table, they have advised which dishes had raw egg and have suggested replacement dishes and sides that were pregnancy friendly. All the dishes we ordered were very flavourful. The lamb shoulder dish had literally a whole lamb shoulder! Although a bit on the pricier end, I would definitely recommend this place for occasions!

Food was delicious and fresh. The meat slid beautifully off the bone, veggies were perfection and sauces addictive. The service was excellent and staff friendly. The sticky date pudding was amazing. Good selection of wine, spirits and cocktails.

My only criticism was the coffee. It didn't taste good and was weak.

This place is a little gem!!!
Had a wonderful Saturday dinner with a group of friends. Seat in the middle of the main dinning but still had amazing garden views with a beautiful sunset. The set menu is outstanding and all dietaries were covered. 👍🏼
Must order the mushrooms with the macadamia!!! All the staff were lovely, simm recommended the best pairing wine with our meal. Bonus point, they had a little band playing setting up the atmosphere which was a 10/10! Definitely will be back!!

Came here for a hens and we had the group menu for $95 during their Autumn menu. The food was so fresh and delicious and their portions were generous. We could not get enough of their barra-masalata with vegetable chips and chips with celery salt. The vibes of the restaurant was also cosy and intimate for dinner. Definitely would come back again.

We went there for lunch and it was hard to find parking. The surrounding streets are all fully parked during the day. It might be better of to catch an Uber or taxi to there.

Services was great, our waitress was attentive and her recommendations are spot on.

Food tastes great here, the only problem for us is, by just reading the menu, it isn’t too clear what we are going to get. Would be excellent if the restaurant can put up some photos in their Instagram showing customers what each dish looks like.

Overall experience was great.

Highly recommended.

Chiswick is one of our favourite places in Sydney for a long lunch! The food is delicious, the service is fantastic and the vibe is classy yet fun. We even had our wedding here and our guests still rave about it. Can’t wait to come back for the lamb 🐑!!

Went with husband, daughter and mother-in-law for lunch yesterday to celebrate her 96th birthday. It was a simply perfect experience from moment we arrived until we departed. Staff welcoming and helpful caring for elderly mother-in-law. Fleur, our waiter, could not have been more pleasant and friendly and attentive (just right level), and the food was excellent. Mother-in-law had the best time - such a treat for her - she's a total 'foody' who these days is 'condemned' to nursing home food.

Georgie was a Burst of energy. When we sat for a drink before our table was ready, she was the first person I had eye contact with and gave me the warmest smile. Luckily we had her as our smellier and she was incredible. She made our night so special. Definitely coming back again! Thanks Georgie

Amazing dining experience. Had the tasting menu for $90pp and it did not disappoint. The trout and lamb shoulder were fantastic, and the flatbread and Bara-masalata are must try starters. Service was friendly and attentive and there was plenty of seating for an weekday afternoon. Will definitely come back!

My fiancé and I had a memorable experience at Chiswick. The staff were all welcoming and extremely helpful in answering our questions in the lead up to our engagement lunch. The ambience was amazing - they even provided live music which got a few of us out of our seats for a dance. The food was delicious and plentiful and featured an array of dishes that appealed to our guests. We booked the tables directly adjacent to the herb garden which allowed us to take some lovely photos. We would highly recommend booking Chiswick for any events that you may have planned. A special shout out to Priscilla who was on the phone to us for close to 20 minutes and responded to our long series of questions. We will definitely be back!

Consistently great!
It has been at least two years since we’ve been here but food, beverages and service was excellent as we remembered it from our last visit. Parking is a little tricky at busy times, but manageable.
Thank you team for making our family lunch a memorable occasion once again! We’ll be back again soon.
