Satisfaction Bakery & Cafe

Nice country bakery which we ended up visiting a couple of times. Friendly and efficient staff, wide range of bakery opinions, plus very good coffee, hot or iced. Indoor and outdoor seating, or just cross the Capricorn Highway and sit in the park. Also, the sliced bread is good as well.

Awesome chicken Ceasar salad! Stopped here in 2019 & had to stop here again for lunch. Highly recommend! (Salad has been half eaten because it's so delicious and I forgot to take a photo when I got it).

We regularly pop down to the bakery for burgers and coffee. Owners Aaron and Aimie-lee go above and beyond for their regulars (as you can see from our dessert!) Would highly recommend checking it out!

Stopped in for dinner on our way through to Aramac. Purchased some lovely fresh bread. As they reopen for dinner we ordered dinner whilst we were there, service was quick from the very friendly staff. The meals were delicious and were a very generous serving size. Would definitely recommend supporting this local business.

Wonderful pies; hot, meaty and flavoursome. Decided to have some chips too. That turned out to be the best idea I’ve had in a long time as they may have been the best chips I’ve ever eaten! Piping hot, crunchy and tasty enough not to need seasoning. Good on you “Satisfaction Bakery”. We were well satisfied! And wait, there’s more......service with a 😊. Thank you.

We were on a bus tour and stopped here for lunch. WOW! Meals were generous and so tasty. Coffee lovely and hot and not luke warm like most. Cakes, slices and tarts were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend to passing travellers and locals.

100% satisfied. They were quite happy to do a vegan burger for us even though it wasn’t on their menu. Nice and fresh, not expensive. What more could you ask for. Keep up the great service. We’ll be back next time we pass through.

Delicious fresh bread made to an extraordinary standard and priced extremely well! Excellent cafe and beautiful pies. The owner- Aaron is a lovely, generous and humble local! The best place to eat if you’re stopping in Barcaldine!

We arrived 10 minutes before closing time. The kitchen had already cleaned up, but they made us burgers, steak rolls and chips with a smile, and it was delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend is you are travelling between Rockhampton and Longreach/Mt Isa.

I was passing through the town the other day and decided to stop at this establishment. I was greeted with a vibrant welcome by a young man who I later learnt was a school boy by the name of Riley Walsh. We got to chatting and he was lovely and very accommodating to me. There's no more fitting name for this establishment than Satisfaction Bakery from my interaction with this young man.

Hands down THE BEST sausage roll I've ever had! Flaky pastry, well seasoned filling which wasn't over cooked. Customer service was great. No complaints!

Stopped in here for lunch while passing through and was served by Amy-Leah..She was the most polite and friendly young lady . The food was good too and reasonably priced. Highly recommend stopping in here.

The food was great but it was definitely Riley Walsh that gave me that satisfaction! His milkshakes were delicious and his excellent service was unmatched. One of Barcaldine's fine young men!

Stopped in on the way through Barcaldine. Got a couple of lamingtons, a Bavarian ring, a cheese and bacon pie and a flat white.
Kids enjoyed the lamingtons, wife liked the Bavarian ring and I demolished the pie and coffee.
Service was quick and friendly.
I left “satisfied” :D
Will be returning.

Lovely friendly baker. He tries to make each item a little extraordinary. The green pepper pies were awesome- just enough heat and VERY tasty, with fall apart beef pieces.

Delicious dinner tonight from Satsifaction. Amazing risotto, fantastic mango salad, best chicken parma I have had for ages and real chicken nuggets for the kids. Thanks again Aaron and Amy. So lucky to have you in town making us locals dinner.

Stopped on the way through for breakfast. Really unexpectedly good coffee, as good as any top notch cafe in the city. Great food - a cut above your usual food on the road. Must stop here if you need brekkie on the go in Barcaldine.

I visit this place here and there and satisfactory is not the word my experience was it was SUPERB! friendly staff always up for a chat, hard workers with an eye for detail ecspecially their burgers. Sweet potato chips that got my lips lickin. definitly worth a visit!
