I have never seen such a generous, genuine, thoughtful and humble mechanic. I would say the best because the way he explains every detail of what he is doing, what is required for the car, its conditions, necessities and the cost and everything was fantastic.I had no idea of what was happening but he went through everything, explained each and every single thing that he did including the cost and more over the safety.
He is reliable and leaves the customer with a satisfactory smile at the end.
He gives his 100 percent in ensuring that everything is done perfectly.
I would recommend many more who haven’t yet opted for his service to go for it.

I don’t know much about car. Whenever I used to go for servicing at other places, the things just used to fly over my head. But, he took time explaining and showing me the things. No question was stupid, and I really liked that. Really thorough and good at what he does. And, he is very nice and friendly. Bonus. Would definitely recommend me to my friends.

I’ve just had my car serviced again by Abdul from Smart Select Automotive. I have done business with him before and I know I’m in good hands. His love and passion for what he does is very genuine and this can be seen in the jobs he’s done. He is very approachable, generous and knowledgeable in his mechanical field.

He goes above and beyond and was willing to help me in the process of looking for a new car. He came with me to check the car and advised me on whether the car was worth the price the dealerships were trying to sell me for. Luckily with his help, I’ve saved a lot of money and time.

His prices are very reasonable and he provides invoices so I know what I’m paying for. He also explains everything he’s doing and sends me a recording of the job he’s done if I am unable to attend while he works on my car. He keeps me updated with what’s going on and checks in on how the car is running and when the next service is due.

The first service was just a basic 6 months service where he replaced the engine oil, oil filter, pollen filter and cabin filter (which made my car smell very nice and it no longer had that cat piss smell every time I went to turn the fan/air-conditioning on).

The second service on the same car was again an oil change, oil filter and new spark plugs. My car would shake a little bit at take off and now this has been resolved and it’s running smoothly again. His advise at the end of the service was to keep making sure that the car is regularly being serviced at the 6 months interval or every 10 thousand kms to ensure any problems that may arise are being investigated early before it becomes a bigger problem.

He also recommended a few other jobs that can be done at my next service (as these problems are not currently an emergency) such as replacing new tyres, front wheel alignment, break fluid, new front and back wiper blades. This gives me a good heads up indication on what to expect and prepare for.

Overall, I am beyond satisfied and I would highly recommend every vehicle owner to book in a time with Smart Select Automotive to get their cars checked. Thank you so much for keeping us safe on the roads. We appreciate the work you do for us.

Called Abdul at Saturday morning as my car was suddenly off when I was driving. He came and helped me to fixed my car at a reasonable price.
As we all knows, a lot of mechanics are fully booked on Saturday or they do not work at weekends. I am so glad that he can come and help me. I am sure I will come back!

He was very professional and approachable. Moreover he is well experienced in terms of any model car and he explained thoroughly what needs to be done on car and what are the problem and their solutions. Excellent services!

Firstly the response to call-up was very quick. The mechanic (a gentleman indeed) booked me in even he had another appointment half an hour later, and arrived at my place in less than ten minutes. Definitely worthy to mention that it was during the Easter public holiday!

Secondly, the gentleman had a quick yet detailed and professional skim through my vehicle, telling me what should be fixed and what’s luckily fine. He even went with me to the petrol station helping me to put the air into the tyres to make sure everything is in good condition. The price of $85 for the service (again please note that it was during the long weekend!) was unexpectedly affordable.

His follow-up is very timely and appointments availability is flexible. He’s passionate and welcoming person, making me feel easy and not as worried about my car as I was before he came.

I had my vehicle serviced by the owner Abdul this weekend and found him to be very friendly, knowledgeable and only to happy to go out of his way to help me even over the weekend running into Sunday.
His prices were the most competitive I have come across and he was very responsive with any questions I had, as I ask a lot of questions.
In all, if I could give Abdul 10 stars. I would.
I will highly recommend him to other people and will definitely be using his services again and with any other vehicles I purchase in the future.

Needed a quick fix on my Subaru and Abdul came in clutch. He went above and beyond to help me find the best prices and definitely knew what he was doing, even left a little gift in the car. Appreciate it heaps would definitely recommend this hard worker to everyone.

Smart select automotive is a small business ran by this gentleman whom is hard working and will do 110% and more to get the job done. I don’t really give reviews to mechanics as per usual we go in there and just leave the rest to the mechanics to work on our cars. With this company, for once in my life, a mechanic has held me accountable and even encouraged me to learn what is being done to my car and what customers like myself could learn from him. This gentleman’s motto is to be as transparent and informative with his service in return that the customers service is met and left with a service with knowledge what is done to the car and what is the best for it. Mechanics are hard to trust but Smart select automotive is one too. Will definitely recommend to try his service in the near future and i do hope for people that reads this message.

Abdul saw me on the side of the road crying as my car wasn’t turning on. He stopped for me to check out my car, free of charge during his working hours. He found out what the issue was with the car and instantly organised the part for me at a discounted price. I am a student who works casually and I don’t have the largest income and Abdul understood this but still wanted to help me. The car was fixed in just over 24 hours. As a women I know mechanics tend to rip us off and the fact he chose to stop and help me for free and then help me even more at a discounted rate shows his amazing character. I am eternally thankful to him and will be going to him for any car troubles or services in the future. 10/10 service!

Absolute champion! Had issues with my driver's side window, called in the evening, and first thing in the morning was out to help. Went above and beyond to make the experience as easy as possible. Sourced the parts and had it fixed same day.

Got a nail puncture on my tyre after business hour. Calling Abdul, he was really helpful telling me what to do and able to do an instant investigation after hours if you need.
He came to my work place to collect the flat tyre and filmed a video to show me the internal damages of the tyre before I made my decision and bring it back as soon as he can.
I don’t need to travel to his workshop, that really save my time as I’m pregnant at the moment.
Good service, positive attitude and fun personality. Will call him again next time if I got any issues with my car.
