One of the best free camping spots we have stayed at. Good clean toilets, fire pits, rubbish bins and stacks of free firewood, cut and split.

The most splendid sunset, the most peaceful lake, the most generous sky stars, one of my best camping memories.

Found an epic site with a quick walk through the bush to the lakes edge with mind melting views. Firewood supplied, pademelons, quoll's, beautiful birds.
Toilets were nice and clean. The 30km dirt road in is pretty good. Amazing spot, not crowded when we were there either.

Best free campground I've been to!
Great amenities, free firewood!
Cheeky quoll will steal what it can get from your campsite 😅
Just be aware it's pretty much at the end of the road (except by foot - it's a great walk, you can only go out and back a bit if you're not up for a big multi day hike!) so you can't go much further except back where you came from when you want to go on day trips.

Great free camping site. The facilities are really clean and well maintained. There are sheltered picnic tables for rainy days.
I saw two groups use their own tent on the ground. I think here is a tent friendly camping site.
I was so lucky that I could see some wallabies eat their dinner at dusk. I really enjoyed staying here and can’t recommend it enough.
Be careful with mosquitoes. I saw some when I had dinner around 7pm.

Surrounded by breathtaking mountain ranges this reasonably spacious ground offers free camping with toilet, water and firewood supplied.

This is where you spend the night after visiting Lake Judd or climbing up to Mount Anne. Decent facilities.

Good and comfortable sites for camping if you don't look for luxury.

Free camp situé proche du Lac Pedder dans le Mount Field National Park. Des toilettes propres sont à disposition. Bel endroit pour les Van autonomes. De nombreux Wallabis séjournent dans la forêt aux alentours. Certains sont même très amicaux :)
