Such a beautiful spot to visit here in the northwestern part of Tasmania! Definitely take your camera.
Suitable for all ages, and no cost.
As part of the Tarkin scenic Drive, this place is worth driving to. Easy drive along a gravel road, heaps of parking on arrival. Only a short walk into the Gorge to see the Arch. Great visual stroll through the spectacular rainforest. Whilst here, hug a tree ♥
Highly recommend.

Short 7min easy walk from the carpark to the arch. The sinkhole is cool & is more than 20m deep! The walk itself is very pretty. Keep in mind there are no toilet facilities here.

Amazing direct walk to the end with rewards of the Arch. Watch out for kids around the arch as it can get slippery. Beautiful example of Tarkine forests along this walk. Easy walking and only a few stairs to negotiate. Highly recommend.

Fantastic little walk through the forest with a spectacular conclusion! The walk is flat and shaded and fairly well maintained too. When you get to the arch the track drops off. But it is safe enough to manoeuvre around the rocks and go closer to the water. It’s worth it to see the arch in all its glory!

A very short and nice walk (prob 10-15 mins) to see the main attraction, it's quite an amazing natural phenomenon! It's 100 meters deep 😱

The arch is a marvel of natural beauty. Tranquil rainforest surrounds it.

A really nice short walk. Good for young children. A short walk, well maintained with a gravel path for much of it. Slightly muddy in a couple of spots after rain. A few steps so not wheelchair friendly.
There's another sinkhole up to the right, go through the arch. There's a very natural path taking you to it. Can be slippery.
Well signed with information.

We love taking our mainland visitors on the Tarkine Drive and our first stop is usually Trowutta Arch. Fantastic geology/sink hole topography and beautifully serene myrtle forest. A sensational natural attraction so close to our home town of Smithton. The sun shining through in the dark forest icing on the cake.

A magnificent spectacle of nature, a real gem for the ar northwest of Tasmania in the top end of the Tarkine. After walking through a tall tree forest of Notofagus myrtles and slender Cyathea treeferns, seeing the Arch and its lake waters beyond is a very photogenic must see experience.

Beautiful place🫶🏻 I will say please DO NOT throw rocks into the pool!
I’d seen at least 4 people do it while I was there, it destroys the ecosystem in it be mindful

I've visited twice, first time was before the track was built, it's much easier now!! Easy walk, lots of fungi along the way, and for the more adventurous you can make your way to the top of the arch and walk across!

What a beautiful, amazing place, photos don't do it justice.

Fascinating geological feature, accessed via a short 20 minute return walk through a callidendrous rainforest. The dirt access road has some of the pot holes filled in, but be careful driving in nonetheless. Well worth visiting.

A truly magical place! Easy path to navigate but getting down close to the cenote is a little steep. Can be muddy on a wet day so wear sturdy shoes. The walk through the temperate rainforest is beautiful, about 20 minutes to get down to the arch from the small carpark on the road. If you are limited in what you can see on the Tarkine Drive as we were, make sure you stop by Trowatta Arch!

Just WOW 🤩
A short magical walk through a rainforest on a well kept trail that opens into a breathtaking sinkhole.
Worth a little mud on your boots.

This place is as mysterious as it was tranquil. If you are in the are you should swing by. Ease road access and short walk from carpark. The rocks never the bottom of the arch are a little slippery and oh down forget to check around the cave at the bottom. Something more mysterious and magical is around the corner.
