River Breeze Caravan and Cabin Park

My dad and I had a lovely stay. We tried to book other places but they were all booked out so lucky to score accommodation here. Very quiet and peaceful. We had a cabin right on the water, cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitty was also super friendly and followed me around for pats.
Very welcoming and friendly owners. Very close to everything such as super markets and pubs. Didn’t use the amenities but I’m sure they’re great. Thankyou.

One of the best caravan parks we've stayed in during our month in Tassie. Just brilliant! There were ensuite blocks that meant you had the toilet, shower, basin in one room. Hot water runs for 5mins at a time - piping hot. Best camp kitchen we've seen. We had 4 different groups of people in there at once and were all comfy. Plenty of tables and chairs inside as well as arm chairs and couches. BBQs and picnic tables/chairs outside and a stove top inside. Small number of pots and utensils that stay in the kitchen. Fridge/freezer froze our freezer bricks and water bottles solid in less than 10hrs. The resident cat just adds to the charm of the place, she's super friendly. The place was spotless! Highly recommend!

We were directed to our slab site, along with an offer to help with parking. The amenities are first class, as is the location of the park.
River Breeze caravan park is the perfect central spot to explore the surrounding areas.

We enjoyed a very peaceful 2 night stay here in our motorhome, powered sites are also available overlooking the river. Very clean and well maintained amenities, friendly and happy staff. A lovely deck/camp kitchen overlooking the river, as well as another large separate modern indoor camp kitchen. A 10 minute work to the local hotel and a 20 minute walk to Woolworths supermarket and town centre. Thanks Greg, see you again soon.

We spent three nights here, what a great park! Showers and laundries are well organised and very clean. Kitchen/lounge well set up and fitted out, comfortable and easy to use. Greg is the ideal host, and the park is a great base for exploring the north-west. Such an interesting area, and so much beauty to see!

Fantastic service, great park with top amenities! Very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend. Our host was vey friendly and even gave us a run down of tourist attractions around. Location is also great being close to town.

Lovely, tidy, relaxing caravan park. Amazing showers and toilets set up as ensuites and a clean well equipped camp kitchen. The owners obviously take pride in their business and it shows. Highly recommended.

Great camping spot with the best amenities I’ve seen so far, huge kitchen with heaps of equipment, showers and toilets done recently, all super clean. And lovely hosts! Woolies is not far away, 15 min walk. Very happy with our stay, thank you so much ! :)

Very well looked after park, extremely clean facilities including washing machines.
I believe we had the best caravan sites by the river, just magical. We where truely looked after and greeted on arrival after getting off the Spirit if Tassie and drive here as our first stop around Tassie.

Brilliant CPark. One of my top 3/40. Immaculate ammenities, gorgeous camp kitchen/lounge area with enclosed fire for winter.
Large sites with plenty of room to reverse in.
Choose from right on the river or close to camp kitchen/lounge. No road noise at all.
Friendly helpful hosts who will assist with reversing in. Local produce for sale in front of office.
Felt very safe leaving my van here to sightsee as a solo female.

We stayed here to do day trips to Stanley, The Tarkine, Woolnorth etc. very central wonderful park, new ensuite amenities and the best Campers Kitchen /Lounge
/Fire we have seen in all our travels. Great flat slab site. Owner has done a great job developing this park. Make Smithton your stay !

Staying till after the long weekend is a very clean well maintained park friendly staff and nothing is to much trouble highly recommend coming here

Excellent Caravan Park right on the River. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable people who let you know the best places to visit. Yummy homemade Jams, Sauces, Pickles, Relish and Honey available at the office. The resident, friendly cat 😺 greeted us when we arrived. A lovely park. 😁

Once again found the stay here most enjoyable, well managed by friendly staff, riverside sites are very roomy suiting large van with slide-out and car,would recommend this park to my friends and others , will be back in the future. Keep pushing the bell boss go magpies 😃

Owner A1, Very friendly and very helpful, Facility very clean and well structure, toilet and shower in same room for comfort . 5min showers, with great laundry and dryer provided. $4 for washing and $4 for drying. Great campers BBQ and Lounge. Enjoyed our stay and came back for a second round. Thank you River Breeze.

We really enjoyed our stay at River Breeze. We were so fortunate to be allocated a cabin overlooking the river and loved being able to sit on our little verandah watching the wildlife. The lovely gentleman at reception was so helpful and welcoming and our cabin was very clean and comfy. Smithton is a great base from which to explore the many stunning tourist spots in and around this part of Tasmania...loved it! Would most definitely stay here again!

Quiet getaway during Covid and wanted some space. Choose to be on riverside or unpowered. I had tent and had lots of space around me. Ground not rock solid for teachers which was nice. My puppy traveled with me which worked really well. Camp kitchen had all you needed and TV. Washing machine and toilet facilities all clean and easily accessed. Nice quiet spot with access to river walk and fishing spots.
