This little bakehouse would have my vote as the best in Tasmania. The offerings in their cabinets were fresh, tasty, and huge with a reasonable price. The staff were friendly with smiles for everyone.
An absolute must visit.

The food choice is amazing for a bakery. Their doughnuts are amazing and some of my family just love the vanilla slice. Worth a stop off. Coffee was great too! 6.50 for doughnuts and 5.50 coffee , but the food is DEFINATELY worth the cost any day of the week.

We stopped here on our way down to Hobart and it’s an amazing little bakery. We purchased a pie and sausage rolls as well as some treats and everything we had was delicious.

The Best Cornish Pasty outside of Cornwall. And a lot better than some of those! Bought a Stockman's pie and cheesy Jalapeno to take home. Definitely a destination stop off!

Great bakery. Close to Launceston airport so a great find for lunch after we got off the plane.

Been in Tassie now for 2. 5 months & have tried ALL the bakeries. Yup, even the fancy ones in Hobart but this little Bakehouse is the BEST by far. BIG soft jam donuts with plenty of jam, plus fancy filled & topped donuts to tick all your cravings, the apple slice is huge with a lovely buttery pastry, the snickers slice was absolutely delish & the raspberry & white choc muffin STRAIGHT out of the oven was the bomb! Massive & super soft. Hubby raved about his steak, cheese & bacon pie. The coffee 9/10.
Lovely girls served us (fussed over our labrador out front).
Just wish we had've known about this little gem when we first arrived in Tas! We would've stayed in Cressy longer!

Fantastic pies. Best since leaving our much-loved bkery in Toodyay, WA.
Pepper steak and Chunky Steak pies were delicious. The Vanilla slice shared to follow was top notch! A very busy bakery but worth the queue time!

We have been to lots of bakeries in Tasmania and all over Australia. This bakery is the best. We compliment the owners and staff on their excellent food, service and attention to detail. Sorry it's so far from our home in WA!

I had to bring my husband to experience this fantastic Bakery. After 2 visits by myself to miss the road works it now will be my go to route to Hobart, with the benefit of stopping at the Cressy Bakehouse for lunch or a snack. The choice of food is amazing. Today I had a lamb wrap, toasted with a yummy white sauce with garlic, lots of chunky lamb which was tender and tasty. My husband had a ham and salad roll with seeded mustard. Lots of ham rolled in the fresh roll with the salad.
We will be back

Cressy bakery is awesome. There is so much to choose from. The pies, coffees, milkshakes are all great. If you have a sweet tooth you must go hungry. I cant reccomend anything in particular as it is all good cronuts, donuts, caramilk cheese cake slices OMG the list goes on. Rustic 1926 bake oven.
