Railway Hotel Cowra

We were a bit doubtful about this recommendation but I’m glad we went. I had a grilled chicken. A good portion perfectly cooked, veges were fresh and the gravy on a cold rainy night just made it perfect.
Staff was wonderful and went out their way to return something we left after we returned to motel. Many thanks guys and special thx to Jordan!

Flat out busy, still got a great steak cooked just right. 😀 Vegies were spot on. Just another great meal, If steaks your thing, this will make you happy

Bring an empty stomach if you come for a meal, the servings are huge!

Not sure how I managed to finish the “Tradie Steak Sandwich”, but not having lunch because of my schedule was probably a blessing - it was huge and absolutely fantastic!

Can eat in the pub near the main bar, the seating near the second par, or out in the expansive beer garden and al fresco area.

Cold beers on-tap, great service, and bathrooms that are like stepping back in time.

Highly recommended.

Best steak I've had in years! Cooked to perfection, full of flavour, tender and big!

Fantastic food. Very generous meal sizes and very tasty. The venue smells amazing so nice to sit and enjoy a wine whilst waiting for meal. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The Tradie steak sandwich is huge. You need a serious appetite to demolish it. Steaks and other meals are true to form country pub size and quality. Give it a go.

We stayed over night in Cowra at the Allana Motel - just over the road. While the Railway was not serving dinner the night we looked in they did allow us to sit in the outside area with the dog and bring our own food. We naturally bought our beers and wine from the pub. Very welcoming and a great young bloke behind the bar. Looks a top stop for a meal - lunch or dinner.

A typical, lovely, rustic country pub. I came here for a nightcap after going out elsewhere for dinner with some workmates, after all the other pubs and clubs shut at 9pm.

Both the local customers and the young male bartender were very friendly, and the bartender even chatted with us and filled us in on a bit of history about the town. I will be back next time I'm in town!!

Stayed overnight in Cowra and decided to go out for dinner for a change. Well if you're after a meal to satisfy you couldn't go past here. Delicious parma, chips nice and crispy, salad fresh and tasty, massive but so tender and moist. The dog was very happy as she got the leftovers 😊 Staff were very friendly and efficient.

I absolutely love this pub. Staff are great. The beer is probably the best you'll get anywhere on tap, and I work in the industry. The food looks really good, need to stay and have something next time. In Cowra just go straight there!

The staff here are wonderful and the meals are awesome. I recommend you give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

New chefs. Was amazing food and so big. T-Bone with cream garlic prawn sauce with chips and a schnitzel, bacon chips and salad.
