Really love every bits of the food that they serve here. Taste really authentic, so many different variety. The atmosphere is really cute. Don’t judge by the design or the restaurant service scape, it’s more about the taste of the food really. Everything is top notch. Well done👍 .

My favourite restaurant. Probably eaten there close to 100 times now. Great food, lovely staff and a big selection of authentic Japanese beverages. Never disappoints!

Have been coming to this restaurant for many years, each time coming for dinner and the majority of the time dining in. I've never had a bad experience and the food is always delicious. There are some times where the food is slightly slow in coming out, but nothing adverse and generally if the place is busy. Staff are always happy to make additional space for you if the tables are full (such as setting up additional tables) and the menu has good variety.

Relaxed dining, friendly service, food always delicious and freshly prepared. Very popular with locals for eat in or take away. My favourites are the Queenscliff set for lunch, Gyoza, Rainbow Rolls, Tempura, Miso Ramen or the tasty Agedashi Tofu. Some great draught beers on tap or try the Choya plum liqueur after your meal!

Amazing, been a customer for over 20 years. Very authentic. The menu is extensive, with options for every taste. Great value for money.

We love Tamagawa. I’ve been coming here for 24 years so these beautiful people who own the restaurant have seen my babies grow up. We visit Tamagawa at least once a week. Beautiful fresh food and wonderful fresh made sushi 🍣 It’s always worth the wait for our food. This restaurant is always busy and that’s because it’s great. The portion is generous and the taste is good.

Food is amazing and very authentic and the staff is very friendly. Their English sometimes may not be best but they always get my order right and I always change a few things on the menu.
The food is absolutely delish

Teriyaki King Fish is cooked Just right. The different taste in the box is well balanced. Really good food.

This is the best place to go for fresh sushi rolls that are a great size! They make the sushi fresh so you can be specific about what you want! Highly recommend in the heart of balgowlah! They are also licences for alcohol and have a good asahi!

I am not usually a fan of Japanese food but I may have to change my mind after such amazing food, simply delicious. Three of us had different meals and all three were beautiful and we all left with a smiles and full tummies. And the price, that was an even bigger surprise, it wasn't expensive. So now I can happily say this is my favourite Japanese restaurant, and I am going back soon.

Utterly delightful and delicious. Like a glimmering shard of Japan in Sydney. The staff are lovely and the food fresh, fabulous, balanced and healthy. Amazing range of beers you should try. Can't really recommend this restaurant highly enough, it is totally excellent.
