Krung Thai Restaurant Balgowlah

I don’t usually write reviews but having recently moved into the area I was hoping to find a nice Thai restaurant to eat at with the family. That said we found Krung Thai and Chris and his family offer the most delicious Thai food in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Their service is impeccable and nothing is a problem. It’s BYO and the food is delicious. Do your self a favour and come and visit this gem on the lower northern beaches. Here’s to many more enjoyable family dinners at Krung Thai. Very accomodating (as we got there close to closing time) hospitable and courteous staff! The food was delicious 🤤 we got Tom Yum soup, Prawn Dumplings and Chicken Laksa! Will definitely be back and 100% recommend this place! Thank you 😃

I would seriously recommend this place to anyone seeking a home cooked style Asian meal, the food is generously portioned, fresh and hot to your table.

A family thai restaurant. They serve you with heart and smile. Great taste of Authentic thai food. Good price good service. pah thai noodles is the best ever. First time here but i will be back for sure.

Visited Krung Thai- best curry puffs and Latb I have ever tasted. Ingredients were fresh and the flavours that made me decide to serve this as an entre at next dinner party. Great service and lovely warm atmosphere. Definitely worth a weekly trip.

Ate here twice on our Sydney visit. The bf and I were surprised the place isn't packed. Food is superb (better than the ones I had in Thailand, and I've been there many times) and the service is exceptional. Must try the duck, beef with oyster sauce and spring rolls👌 Hope this place booms. Will defo eat here the next time we visit Sydney. I don't usually write reviews but this place deserves it. Delicious Thai food, and they are especially warm people with friendly service. Very efficient and reasonably priced too. Definitely recommended.

I just popped in here for a bit of takeaway before driving back up to Newcastle.
I felt like I got dine-in service while i waited; it was lovely. I wish I could come back with friends and have a proper meal!
Plus, food was well portioned for price and best spring rolls I've had in a while. I can see why they have been there for so long 😊🙌.

This place is LEGENDARY! They should have Michelin 🌟 we ate there 2 times tried green curry lamb, duck, tomyum, spring rolls, beef with oyster sauce, salmon all super 👌 delicious

Would give 10 stars if I can. One of the best Thai places I have been to. The Green curry is amazing, the music is good, the place looks clean and tidy, and the people go above and beyond to deliver a great service.

We love this place - friendly + welcoming with beautiful food at a very reasonable price. Chris will remember your whole table's order! The charming art-decor surroundings add to the ambiance of this successful, long-staying restaurant.

Best Thai I have ever eaten. I constantly go back and have been doing so for several years now. The family who owns the placd are unbelievably polite and will do anything to ensure best service. They will do local delivery if you call them directly.

This little run Thai never fails to impress with great friendly service and always good food at very affordable prices.

Decor a bit 70s but apart from that you cannot fault this unasumming family run restaurant.
Well worth a visit for a great feed and change out of your pocket which is not easy in Sydney these days.
