I have just done, with the help of my family and a couple of mates my 210SQM unit with Shimicoat, it was hard work but believe me preparation is key, either grind or acid watch, then read the instructions and watch All of the vids, get the right gear, don’t skimp on spreaders or roller kits, small cost in the scheme of things, then reap the rewards of a job well done, makes a boring grey concrete floor come to life.😃

Highly recommend this product and the company. I used the swimming pool epoxy resin to coat and seal my DIY ice bath. It was easy to apply and work with. My friend who helped me had used a different product for his previously and said this was heaps easier. Frank was really helpful answering questions and knowledgeable on the product. It arrived quickly.

I have an entertaining area 105m2 under a pergola. We decided to go with Shimicoat Epoxy and flake with Epoxy clear coat to finish. From the first phone call, Frank was so helpful and informative it just made the whole experience much less daunting. I paid for my products over night and Frank got up at 3:30am the next morning to book the courier as early as possible! I got them from WA to Melbourne Hillside 3037 in 3 days including a weekend. One of my friends had his car park coated with epoxy beautifully, so I decided to do the same. I contacted the company but their price looked so high. I found Shimicoat and the guy suggested to use flakes in the epoxy coat.. finally they did the job for almost 20 percent less and the floor looks wonderful! it amazingly beautiful but tough.I absolutely recommend this company and this specific kind of flooring... I was looking for a waterbased urethane to use as a topcoat to protect my epoxy floor. I stumbled across shimicoats AQUAthane product. I used the chat function offered on the website and was pleasantly surprised to find myself chatting with the owner Frank. He answered all my questions and I decided it was the right product for my needs and for a great price with free shipping! It arrived on time all the way across the country which surprised me.
Instructions are on the container but I used the chat again and Frank was happy to help guide me through the application process.
It was very easy to use, doesn't smell at all and the best part is it cleans up with water!
My floor looks excellent and is now the epoxy is protected from the elements.
