Big Al's Pizza - Carrum Downs

I've seen quite a few 1 star reviews which is why I thought I'd review myself. We live in Frankston and have tried most places near us, but we ordered the first time around 12 months ago and we only come here now. The pizzas are always fresh, hot and tasty. When I pop in to pick up orders occasionally, the staff are always friendly and accommodating. I'm not sure why this place hasn't got 5 star reviews from everyone but you won't be disappointed if you give them a go! Our go to is their Pepperoni, Aussie and Hawaiian. Great prices too!

Pizzas and pastas are always delicious everytime we order for our Friday night feed. They’ve been under new management for a while now and can not fault their customer service. Keep it up!

Absolutely love the team at Big Al’s; everyone is so welcoming and great to talk to. Pizza is always done perfectly and honestly since moving up this way in 2012, this is by far my favourite pizza shop in the Mornington Peninsula/City of Casey region

After trying big Al 6 years ago when we moved to the area we were greatly disappointed it was disgusting and hubby put it on the ban list.... but after trying many of the other places in the area and only being disappointed and grosed out.... we gave it another go , and I'm so happy we did..... the pizza was fresh hot and bloody tasty!!!!!! The new owner was so friendly and the shop was clean 👌 we will definitely be back !!!

Decided to have pizzas with friends. Stopped by big al’s on a Friday night. It was abit of a wait as it was full of people however we ordered satay and meat lovers pizza with garlic bread and a drink. It was hot and delicious, definitely will come back again!

Thanks team. Been getting pizzas from these guys for years. Sometimes they have been a little up and down, but all places have this. But thanks for an awesome Father’s Day pizza for dinner! Pizzas were awesome, yummy, hot and tasty.

I've been eating this stores pizzas for years now and they never dissapoint. The pizza arrives hot and timely in it arrival. Toppings are always fresh and not light unlike other pizzas in this catchment area.

Great Pizza. You get what you pay for! These average 8 to 10$ and they have heaps of toppings! Compared to the cheaper options in the area at 6ish $ Big Al's is significantly better! Have had the same delivery guy and he's great. Fast, hot food and he's polite. Buy/call them directly as it's cheaper than menulog or Uber etc. Plus more of the profits go to this local business. Honestly one of the best spots in the South East suburbs, it's my go to every time I'm craving a pizza, which is a lot, if you love pizza like i do then youv gotta check them out! 😄

First time here. Served by a really nice young man. Bought pasta dishes, bolognese and calabrese. Very tasty. We will be back to try the pizzas. I'm sure they will be just as great.

Can’t believe I didn’t find this place sooner! Unbelievable (and personalised) service, super quick and delicious food, honestly beside myself that me and my partner only discovered this place last year! We couldn’t imagine getting our Sunday feasts from anywhere else along the peninsula.

It’s unfortunate that Google only allows for a 5 star rating, because this place goes above and beyond the typical 5 stars for their customers as we feel so valued as returning customers each time! I personally couldn’t recommend this place anymore than I can.

The owner especially is such an amazing guy, the small things such as asking how our day is and bringing up our conversations from the previous pick up and following up with us makes us feel so valued. We appreciate it so much.

Big Al's was recommended to me by a freind and i wasn't dissapointed! Lovely pizza with really fresh ingredients, and one of the best lasagna dishes i have ever had as takeaway. Delivery was prompt and the driver freindly. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Now my go to pasta shop no doubt.

They have been providing for my familys friday night pizza and drinks for years. Decided to leave a comment tonight as I feel like the service with the current owner is 10/10. He has cemented his place as a local, providing for locals!
About the pizzas, they do not feel and taste super oily, the base sauce is not bitter and been sitting there for hours, the toppings are actually fresh and crunchy, the crusts choices are great and lastly for the perfect pizza, the cheese.. a perfect amount and great taste! If your looking for pizza to put s smile on your family and friends, come down and enjoy the pizza guys. You will not regret! 10/10

We have had there pizzas many times, always good, although slightly expensive.
They made a mistake on a delivery today, I gave them a quick call and they had a new pizza out here within 20min. Absolutely fantastic service!
