Hwang Ga BBQ Strathfield

Hubby and I randomly decided to eat here on a Monday night, surprisingy very busy, we waited for an hour which was fine.
We ordered the wagyu lover set. The meat was very delicious and buttery, very satisfied with the meal. The staff very attentive and polite. Bottomless refills of their side dishes, really enjoyed the chest nut jelly and fish cakes!
We liked it so much we came back the following week and ordered the wagyu set. That was even better.
We also brought our families here too and they loved it. Our go-to korean bbq place now.

This restaurant is good value for money. They have this fish roe soup which was always amazing. Their dishes and plates are cleaned properly. I just wish they have a bigger dinner menu rather than just BBQ. Bbq is nice in winter but not really in summer. They offer other dishes for lunch only. They should have those dishes for dinner too.

1st time here and loved the atmosphere it was a busy night the staff were attentive to all tables fresh meats and tasty dishes a bit over priced that’s for sure .

First Korean BBQ, we decided to go there after the place we originally intended across the street were very rude to us.

This place was amazing. Thank you to the staff for being so welcoming and showing us how to grill the meat and vegetables and also to the owner helping us navigate the steps with our son in a pram (even though the owner had a shoulder injury).

The food was so good. Meat was so tender and all the sides were perfect. Would go again! Seemed authentic and staff are so lovely.

The best thing about Hwang Ga is the fresh meat and generous portion.

The food was delicious. We ordered the combination set and seafood pancake. The meat was really tender with great portions. Great staff and service too. Highly recommend.

Keep coming back. Jang Ta Bal (the most renowned in Strathfield) is always busy and not open on Sundays, so I decided to try this place. Really cleanly and beautifully fitted. The side dishes were plentiful and so delicious. I liked the pork belly more than the marinated beef skirt, but that's a matter of preference. Really like the tea that they serve, which complements the rich meat tastes well. Like this place a lot.

Hands down the best Korean BBQ place in Strathfield. Service is very fast & friendly and the food is just amazing - great side dishes too. Will always be returning with my friends.

Highly recommend! We have a great time there. The foods are good and unique. Staff was great! Service are excellent. Place to go if you like to have BBQ.

Cozy environment for group gathering with friendly staffs and the owner there is really gentle. Service and food is worth the price.
