A great little place to stop. The owners have invested in providing a well presented beautiful little roadside eatery. Well done.
The view of Mt Crookneck is a cracker with lots of seating and space to relax.
Quick service for food made our visit even more enjoyable. Will be back again with our friends.
Two suggestions.
1. Can you please get a good English black tea like Yorkshire. The normal run of the mill teas are weak.
2. The teapot spouts are not designed the best and allow the spillage of tea whilst pouring.
The better pots have the spout above the lid level and have a curled downward lip on the bottom to stop the spillage.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

My mum in law and I enjoyed an amazing brunch at the Cafe today. Although we didn't have a booking the staff were gracious and made sure we had the best experience.

Cute little local place to have breakfast and coffee with a great view. Worth a stop in, if you're in the area! About 10 mins from Steve Irwin highway.

What an amazing lunch we had today with a beautiful view. Thank you so much for making it so special. It was great that you were dog friendly but bringing out a bag of little dog treats for free made it even better. The meals were great. Huge delicious burger and steak sandwich, the kids loved the waffles and my son was over the moon to find a vegan meal he hadn't tried before which was huge and he finished the lot because he said "it was the best".

On a little drive around the glasshouse mountains way, we turned around at a little sign to find this place! My friends loves the views of the mountains and just the drive up there was awesome 👏.
Wheelchair access into the restaurant and also able to manoeuvre about once in there.
On a motorcycle trail (for those that enjoy 😜), this spot is a little oasis amongst the greenery, with a lovely garden and orchard vista, not to mention the mountain view from your table.
We got the fritters with salmon and a burger, which were both delicious and generous servings.
For those that enjoy a little sampling of retail goods from local producers, there are also some candles, bath salts and other goodies to check out while you’re there - some great gift ideas!
If you enjoy a drive, a view and a great meal and service - then this is the ticket, check out The Lookout Cafe!

Was absolutely packed when we first arrived, so we couldn't get a window seat. The food and service were great. Nice view, but I would say it wasn't a lookout, as I couldn't really see all the mountains as it is down too low.

Weekend / Sunday riders - a small group of 3 people who were first time visitors to The Lookout Cafe.
From observations, Sunday staff members were working vigorously hard to keep up with the demand of continuous visitors to the area.
Upon our arrival, we were greeted with smiles and a warm welcome. The menu was simple to follow with just the right amount of options.
After ordering 3 ice coffees & food, we were able to get a table outside, luckily! Our ice coffees arrived sooner than expected and tasted super delicious. Food arrived several minutes thereafter with no complaints from any of us.
We were served by a young man who was polite, respectful & friendly. We were impressed by his work ethic knowing how to serve on people but most of all … learning to work for money on one of the most busiest days of the week. Great stuff young man, what a champion, and thanks to the team of hard workers for being their for your employer and the many visitors you continually get.
Impressive service all round with picturesque views.
The only thing that requires improving is the parking situation for both cars and motorcycles with limited safe parking space. Possible beyond their control and maybe more of a council situation. Not entirely sure.
Highly recommend.

We had the most beautiful lunch here. The bowl of soup was very generous and my mum had the waffles which we're amazing. The staff don't rush serving you and take time to welcome you and chat. It was the perfect stop to relax over some lovely food whist enjoying a panorama of the Glasshouse Mountains. I'll definitely be back. Great access for an elderly person with à walker and could easily manouver inside.

We stop here whenever we are in town or taking overseas tourists to the lookout and it has never failed us. Nothing is too much trouble, the food is fresh and delicious, and they make wonderful coffee (Tim Adams coffee). Best of all, they have a dog friendly area. I can’t recommend this place enough! Love it!
