Surfside Holiday Park

Epic location. Very short walk to the beach. Walk through a tunnel and your at a wooden maze, playground and lakes. The caravan park was massive. All camp and caravan sites seemed decent sized. We stayed in a 2 room cabin provided by Camp Quality. It had all the amenities needed holiday but if you don't want to do dishes there's also a cool looking camp kitchen with bbqs and seating undercover. Heaps of shower/toilet blocks so there wouldn't be a line if you camped. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance too. Didn't need to really see the staff besides when we checked in our out but were very welcoming.I'd definitely stay here again

We stopped in last minute on the Thursday before this long weekend and the staff were lovely.
They were so accommodating, quick to help and really welcoming.
We pulled up after dark and we could hear the waves but we couldn’t see them, when we woke up we couldn’t believe how close to the beautiful beach we were! It was beautiful!
We didn’t have our children with us this time but definitely will next visit as the park is a perfect place to stop with kids.

Went there just after New year's Eve and it was definitely the biggest and busiest holiday park I have been too. Saying that even with all the people, facilities were still pretty clean. And you have pretty much direct access to the beach.

Not to stay at hotel.. just a meal and play in the park with the kidss..

park was so wide and comfortable
has many things to do.. restauran near by.. all is nice for a short escape

Can't get any better in Warrnambool . Half way through summer , and was able to get me a site .

Thanks to the theif that stole the food from my fridge , and the fridge in the camp kitchen . Gives me a reason to warn you, if I catch you , I will beat you with a stick 🚑

Good park … sites are good lots for children to do. My only criticism is the kids on bikes and scooters where travelling way to fast no parent supervision and no helmets .. scary stuff we were in section E with a through road and down a hill, I do not know how someone did not get seriously hurt.
Otherwise good stay.

This park without a doubt is one of the best caravan parks we have had the pleasure of staying at in over 10 years of travel in our van.
The park is huge, yet you would never think so because of all the hedges that hide one area from the next. Beachfront with walking trails that go for kilometres. Amenities are spotlessly clean. Great communal areas. Staff are exceptionally helpful and polite. Great initiative for the local council....well done!

Excellent facilities, outstanding service at reception including knowledgeable about surrounding activities and facilities. Beautiful spot between beach and Flagstaff Hill maritime village! 10*

The best caravan park I’ve ever stayed at. Close to beaches, the main town, carnival and across the road from Pertobe Lake. So much to do here and the sites are a great size too. Highly recommend visiting!

Stayed on powered sites with friends. Nice grassy areas with shrub screenings here and there. A good spacious camp kitchen and close to beach and Main Street.

☆☆☆☆☆Caravanning with our Dog. Excellent Park, walking or biking track aside beach. Exceptionally clean, quiet, staff everywhere with helpful smiles. Amenities 5Star, camp kitchen outstanding. It was a pleasurable experience. ☆☆☆☆☆

Beautiful area to visit. Short stroll to the beach. I could hear the waves but we were protected from the wind by the vegetation. Facilities were pleasant with piping hot water. Good community areas and laundry.

What an amazing find!
Used this as our turnaround place when doing the GOR.
Gave us a quick drive through site so no unhooking, walk to park and shops.
Park laid out amazingly and would recommend a quick stop here for everyone with kids!!

We had a lovely night here a week ago!After rude receptionist at the Discovery park(receptionist didn't wish for us to look at our accomodation before accepting it-husband is disabled so we need to look at the bathroom )we came to this great park where everyone was friendly and helpful !They allowed us to check out 2 different cabins to see which would suit us better!
It was very comfortable and had everything we needed !Beds were good ,shower was great and we were warm !Great park close to everything !Would definitely recommend this park if you are visiting this area!

Relatively easy to get a site in peak season as compared to other holiday parks. Amenities are clean and maintained. Expect sound of waves throughout the night if windy.

Great friendly staff, amazing setup with lots of toilet and shower blocks spread throughout park. Great laundry areas and all clean. Lovely place to stay. Backs onto beach.

Fantastic facilities, excellent amenities block, well laid out laundry, amazing camp kitchen. Close to town, dog friendly. Easy access to the beach. Clean, well maintained, well designed park with friendly, helpful staff. If there was to be a small criticism, it would be that the price of a powered site during off peak season is a little high.

Surfside is one of those great middle of the road caravan parks that is kept clean and tidy even throughout busy periods. While there are not many structured facilities for kids within the park there is so much creative play available. Hills, bushes to make forts and plenty of open space makes this a great place for everyone. The park backs onto Lady Bay that has magnificent beaches for enjoying the surf or other beach activities. Additionally there is a sealed walking track that extends along the bay. Connected via an under road tunnel is Lake Pertobe and possibly one of the best kids playgrounds in Australia. A fantastic place to stay. And covid safe
